Hello everyone
--- I'm looking for a series from the 80s, 84/86, I know I'm not going to help you much, it was a series featuring two chemist or researcher brothers; a very dark series, I think the title was the black hand or something like that. In the opening or ending credits, there was a hand
if someone finds it with so little, hats off and thank you

Do you have any other information to share with us? Like actor names, character names, broadcast dates, etc...?
I have opened research topics on various suitable forums, let's wait and see...
In addition, I was just offered: The Mysterious Doctor Cornelius from 1984! Is this the series in question?

This series was re-broadcast on a cable channel a few years ago (TMC? Paris Première? Jimmy?)
We encountered mad scientists, furious lunatics, a quirky inventor, and a gallery of equally unlikely characters..
I was fascinated by the mix of fantasy (even self-mockery?), emotion, and darkness that often left us scared and amused. The actors were good and there were many outdoor shoots (monastery, island, Eiffel Tower).
The ending, disconcerting, suggested a possible sequel.
I would really like to see it again. Especially since I have only seen two episodes out of the six that this series has.
Having read the book version of Gustave Lerouge (out of print), I find that it was quite loosely inspired in the TV series, but the slightly outdated serialized novel aspect that gave it its charm was preserved.-
Thank you, thank you!!!
For years, my wife and I have been searching for the name of that series that fascinated both of us.
I also only remembered that hand in the ending credits.
Thank you, thank you, thank you again.
Christian- Many of us in our thirties or forties are desperately searching for this series or begging France Télévisions to release it on DVD. It's a cult show, in a way, for the fascination it sparked in our childlike minds. Mix René Magritte, Conan Doyle, Gustave Eiffel, and Jules Verne in a blender, and you'll get our haunting and burlesque series...
What is surprising on the Internet is that in dozens of forums, the same questions and requests arise: "Do you remember this series...?", "Where can I find or buy it...?" The problem is that dark tales of rights issues prevent us from hoping for a DVD version of the Doctor, and believe me, I've been fighting for quite some time! Others are actively involved in this matter, and one of them, "Leglaud" (whom you can easily find through a search engine associating his name with the series) even has recordings of the radio broadcasts directly adapted from Gustave Le Rouge's book (which were aired on France Culture decades ago...). I've also contacted someone at France Culture who promised to get in touch if the series is to be rebroadcast.
In the meantime, check back on this topic from time to time, as I plan to set up a petition blog to encourage a channel to air the series by demonstrating our interest to several people.

Like you, I am looking for this series and I am ready to sign a petition.
As for Lerouge's novel, I recommend it because it is abundant and thrilling. -
Hello,
Amazing: by recovering, thanks to you, the name of that series which had fascinated me and of which I only remembered that it was about a "red hand," I am reconnecting with the atmosphere it was able to create...
What talent, really, to mark a generation so profoundly!
I would love to see it again too, I sign! -
Yippee! A good Samaritan, who had kept their recordings from back then, made using a good old VCR during the airing of the series, has made them available. May this anonymous person be touched by joy and happiness and may they be exempt from taxes for the century to come -> http://lesintrouvables.blogspot.com/2011/03/le-mysterieux-docteur-cornelius-16.html
