Hello,
I’m looking for the title of a French TV series from the 60s or 70s that took place in the Basque Country or the Pyrenees. It was about jeep races and the return to the village of a long-haired young man whose father fought in the Spanish Civil War; I believe the theme song was in Occitan. Thank you.

Summary Miniseries in 30 episodes. The landscape is splendid. It is the mountainous part of the Basque Country, forests and waterfalls as they were before pollution. In this idyllic setting, a mute drama unfolds. An enigmatic stranger, young and handsome, with the demeanor of a vigilante, awakens long-forgotten local passions. The population is taciturn and fierce, like in westerns, and the notables seem to have something to reproach themselves for, except for the châtelaine, a lovely sentimental widow.
The action progresses in meanders, to preserve a carefully guarded secret. It is understood that it is a revenge, but from episode to episode, the culprit eludes our insight. Sequences of diversion (a manhunt, a wild boar hunt, an off-road car rally) fuel the suspense.
In this first episode, after crossing the Franco-Spanish border clandestinely, Miguel Mendegula and his friend Sagardoy are hiding in the mountains.
The next morning at dawn, the mayor of the area, Commander Erlart, organizes a wild boar drive. His guests are the local landowners: Claire Marie Elissaïde and Laurent Bertran. Armed with a rifle, Miguel hides in the bushes. He follows the advance of Commander Erlart in his sights and prepares to shoot him.

Gorri the Devil is a French television series consisting of thirteen episodes of twenty-nine minutes each, created and directed by Jacques Celhay with Robert Etcheverry (Gorri)

Synopsis: In the early 19th century, the small town of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port is a major hub for smuggling between France and Spain. Gorri, which means red in Basque, has made this his main activity. Unfortunately, the customs officers have decided to put a stop to these activities by arresting and punishing any smuggler caught in the act with five years of imprisonment.
During a joint operation between gendarmes and customs officers, a man is killed and Gorri is unjustly accused of his murder. He therefore has no choice but to flee to Spain...

The music was composed by Charles Dumont.

Hello,
I am looking for the title of a weird western of which I remember very little, except for Basque pelota players jumping from rock to rock, yelling and fighting with Indians (I know it sounds a bit ridiculous) and I still can't find the title of my show with the theme song in Occitan.
Thanks for any information.

Regarding your second request, it must be the French series Aubrac City (1971) with Jean Amadou and Anne-Marie Carrière...

Details: http://www.animezvous.com/forum_subdomain/index_sid_d8c5eb60ea5a843950bc27cd03bda530/?rub=fiche_da&id_da=1120
Opening Theme: http://www.coucoucircus.org/series/generique.php?id=1049
Record Cover: http://www.encyclopedisque.fr/disque/32983.html

Synopsis: In 1851, Mont-Aubrac, an entire village in southern France, decides to immigrate to the USA to found a new town, Aubrac City...

This French western series was broadcast from 1971 on ORTF and left a mark on the viewers of the time, some of whom still know the opening theme by heart, mainly due to the incongruity of seeing a series with cowboys and Indians where all the actors have a strong accent from the south... of the Massif Central.

It is worth noting that this series was filmed on a set and featured humorous entertainers like Jean Amadou or Anne-Marie Carrière.

I'm looking for the same movie and I'm in the same situation; my memories are very vague.
I think it's a film from the 50s or early 60s, and for me, the title was "The Caravan of the Sun" or "The Caravan to the Sun," but unfortunately, I can't find anything with those titles. I've been searching for a long time but to no avail.
If you find anything with this little information, I would like to be informed.
See you!

Hello
it is true that the answer has been found, but 2 and a half months isn't that long.
But my message was simply to tell him that I have the DVDs. That's it.

Alas, that's not it; there was no jeep race in Gori, the devil, and the theme song is not in Occitan, but thank you anyway.

Hello!
I am looking for the title of a science fiction series in which a time-lost character, unable to return to his time and jumping from era to era, faces catastrophic situations (he finds himself on the Titanic in one episode and on the island of Krakatoa in another). He always tries in vain to convince others that something serious is going to happen, but nobody believes him. He always ends up being rescued in the nick of time by a team of scientists who are trying to bring him back to his time.
That's all I know. Sorry, and a big thank you to anyone who can help me out!
Vincent.

I'm looking for the name of a soap opera that aired around 7 PM between 1966 and 1968. I only remember this small part of a song: "at Saint Michael's or at Saint John's".... I recall beautiful images of wheat fields.
I know it's sparse information.
Thank you in advance for your responses.

the chorus went something like this:

the grass is short where the blood has flowed there is so little wheat that your skin will rust my brother. Get up, a harvest of nettles is growing in your country......etc....

too leftist.....right?

Hello, I'm looking for the title of a series (I think it's French but I can't be sure) that aired in the 70s. It was a comedy series featuring a guy who experiences all kinds of misfortunes. I seem to recall that the opening sequence showed this man in front of a jukebox in a café (though I'm not sure about that either).
Thank you in advance.

A thousand apologies, it wasn't a jukebox but a pinball machine.

Hello vga!

The jeep race named The Rally of the Peaks was invented by Sauveur and perpetuated by Arnaud. The premier event of the world championship for off-road rallies, The Rally of the Peaks, takes place in Haute-Soule with special stages in the municipalities of Licq Atherey, Mauléon, Esquiule, Barcus, Tardets, Iraty, Alçay-Alçabéhéty-Sunharette.

The Rally of the Peaks is the mythical sporting event in the field of 4X4. Every year, participants put on an impressive show for the thousands of spectators gathered along the tracks that alternate between rocky sections and muddy ruts! Beyond the sporting achievement, The Rally of the Peaks is primarily about healing and passion. In the mid-20th century, Sauveur Bouchet wanted to promote and develop the land that saw him born: Soule, in the Pyrenean massif of the Basque Country. In 1951, he imagined, organized, and won! the very first edition of The Rally of the Peaks. Since then, the descendants of Sauveur Bouchet, among others, have continued to keep this rally alive every year, which nearly got evicted from the French Championship due to its difficulty. Alternating current sporting sequences, archival footage, and testimonies, this documentary shares the emotion of one of the most popular rallies, which remains true to a tradition of passion and human adventure.
Today, The Rally of the Peaks remains one of the most beautiful events in the French Championship for Off-Road Rallies.

Hello Vera, and I apologize for having left you out of my thanks, but I'm not very good with the machine. I mean, it wasn't my intention to only respond to Max, but I don't know what happened, and it would be too long to explain. In any case, my thanks to you have disappeared (I know it's my fault; I'm such a loser). So I’ll say it again: a thousand apologies and ten thousand thanks. Hugs, vga
PS. How did you manage to get responses from INA? I've been trying and they can't find anything. vga

Hey no Vera, it's a rather anachronistic US film, I admit, and the little memory I have of it won't make the search any easier: Basques dressed in chistera player outfits, jumping from rock to rock while making screams... you see, it's not simple.
But don't stress if you can't find it. I'm just throwing a little old man tantrum and if I can’t find it... well, there won't be any "man's death." In any case, thank you for your attention. Vga

Hello,
I’m also looking for this film for my mother. Where are you in your research? She remembers exactly the same thing as you, but that's it. I’m still searching, and if I find it, I’ll let you know. Vera has already helped me, and I was thinking of giving her this new challenge, but if Vera hasn’t found it, I have a lot of work ahead.
See you later.
