Good evening,
I have my own accounting and sales software, CCMX Winner, from 11/19/2002. The agency told me that CCMX Winner is not compatible with Windows Vista, so I need to buy two other software programs. Could you please give me a solution? I'm going crazy.
I look forward to hearing from you and send you my best regards.

Good evening

I am currently working for a company that is migrating old CCMX clients to Cegid or Sage products by retrieving all the data

I can probably help you.

just for your information:

Cegid does not have any interface that allows for the automatic migration of accounting data from a CCMX software (such as a general ledger). The only solution is to develop the interface to perform this type of transfer.

Hello,
Since you have been a consultant, maybe you can help me?
I have a PC running Windows XP with CCMX. I bought a new PC with Vista. I had to create two partitions (one with Vista and the other with XP) because it didn't work under Vista.
However, when I want to print an invoice, it asks me for a password with the ADMIN user to access a Microsoft Access database.

Thank you in advance.

Hello,
I have a little problem... After resetting my desktop PC because it was bugging, I had to reinstall all the software, including CCMX WINNER, but now I can't view my reports (balance, journals ...). I need to print them in order to look at them (which means a lot of pages...)
When I try to view them, a message appears saying: "initialization of the print preview screen driver not found"... AND the page closes automatically... and I have to reopen the software, etc.
I hope I'm not being confusing,

hoping that you can help me,

thank you,

Andrea

Hello, I just changed my PC, and I'm now on Windows 7
I managed to reinstall CCMX Environment 2.00 and CCMX Winwinner 2.70 with some difficulty
Now I have a problem with Expert Connect; when I want to export or receive, it gives me SQL error 4002
Warning: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] data source not found and name of the driver not specified ODBC3 STATUS:28000
and then the software crashes, and I have to unblock it and reopen it

Do you have a solution?

Hello,

The 2.0 environment is normally not compatible with Win7. The 2.0 environment is replaced by a Win Vista installation on the WinWinner CD with SQL 2005 (accessible only via Explorer!!!).

Expert Connect is an old application for Office 2003 or Outlook Express on Win XP. Try running it as an administrator. Otherwise, print to PDF and then send your file.

Hello,

I reinstalled CCMX Winwinner on a XP laptop, the same configuration as before but I can no longer install PDF compatible or PRN Win@edit. It gives me an error 1722 for both. I cannot install PDF my or PRN Win@edit.

Hello,

we managed to get it working on a PC with Windows 7 by installing a virtual machine with XP
This allowed us to continue the year with this software while waiting to switch to another one.

You can reach out to your IT technician or we can install it for you remotely if you wish.

Hello,

Your issue comes from the SQL agent. Make sure that your "SA" has the appropriate rights; otherwise, upon closing the files, a small "SQL" logo will appear in the CCMX explorer program.

Hello

following a crash of my PC where the accounting resources were stored, I find myself in need of reinstalling the accounting software we use, CCMX WinWinner. However, I am facing a major issue. The CD ROM containing WinWinner Environment is missing, and without it, I cannot proceed with the reinstallation of the software. We are quickly approaching the accounting closure, and I absolutely need to reinstall this software without delay.

(I have the WinWinner program and an update CDROM, but I am only missing the CDROM named ENVIRONMENT) which seems essential for the installation.

Could someone please help me and propose sending the files from this WinWinner Environment CDROM? by email? FTP? sending a CDROM? I can even send an envelope and blank CD if necessary, but please, help me... I am in a deadlock...

Thank you in advance

Best regards

Grégory

Hello,

the current version is 3.02

1/ Install MSDE (CD CCMX environment 3.0) SP3a

if SP4 (CD environment 4.0), open the TCP-IP flow in MSDE for a multi-station installation

2/ WinWinner

Hello Sir,

While browsing this forum, I noticed that you have quite a good command of CCMX. Currently, my company is facing a recurring problem and we have no assistance. We are unable to close an accounting period solely because the general ledger is unbalanced, while all the journals are balanced and everything seems correct. Our accountant does not understand why we are facing this issue. Can you help us with this matter?

SINCERELY. BEST REGARDS.

Hello,

I’m struggling too!
But basically, you need to
- have at least IE6
- install CCMX environment
- install CCMX Winner

For me, my issue is that the version sold to my company is a network version, delivered with MSDE 2000 which we know from the start does not handle more than 2GB in database size. So, without stating it in the sales contract, CCMX has given us a limited product. I have a meeting soon with my boss. We’re thinking of asking Cegid to fix this serious oversight.

Our environment:
CCMX commercial management
CCMX accounting
W2K server
2 client workstations for CCMX Commercial Management
1 accounting workstation

If I can tell you more, no problem!

However, if it's a usage problem, I don't know... :(

Due to a crash of the PC where we record our accounting, under CCMX WinWinner, I am forced to reinstall the software, but I have a problem
I have the WinWinner CDROMs, but unfortunately, the CDROM named ENVIRONMENT (WinWinner environment) is missing, and without it, I cannot reinstall the software.

Could someone provide me with a copy of this CDROM, or the content via email or FTP?

We are quickly closing the accounting session, and I find myself in a big mess, please help me...

It seems that several of you are using and owning this software; I only lack the Environment CD that has disappeared, the others are safely in my possession

Thank you in advance

Best regards

Good evening, Cool!

My version is not recent either, it's from 2005, and I'm still stuck. The manufacturer is supposedly sending me a CD, but I haven't received anything for 15 days, and accounting is getting behind.

Is there any way you could send me the content via email? FTP? Would you like me to send a blank CD and a prepaid envelope??

My email: gregory (at) kabiloo.com

Thank you in advance, you would save me by sending me a copy of this CD.

Best regards,

Grégory

Hello everyone,

I'm posting again in this topic because my problem also concerns ccmx.

I need to reinstall ccmx after a crash of my old computer. Unfortunately, during the installation, the software crashes, telling me that there is a processor error. It's a Pentium Dual 1.8GHz. The minimum required configuration is a Pentium 3!!!! It's impossible to continue the installation.

Of course, ccmx tells me that I need to subscribe to a plan (33€ per month)!!!!!!!

I saw that diane62120 worked on it. If anyone has a solution. Thanks in advance...

Hello,

I also have a problem with CCMX.
I want to migrate a network installation from an old server to a new one.
The new one is a Windows Server SBS 2003. It seems that I cannot install the network version on an SBS. Is this true? Or is there a solution?

On the other hand, are there specific elements to back up on the old server?

Thank you in advance.

Laurent Nunès

No worries with SBS2003

I have about ten sites with Winner (expert or Win) on SBS 2003.

For backups, there are the folders, the resource database (which contains users and clients), and then depending on the property options, an export of the models and documents. If there’s payroll, the common database)

Hello JOEJOE05,
I assure you I have the same problem as you, but I have no idea why they don’t want to reinstall it for me.
Cegid, the distributor, replied that we are "idiots" and that if we wanted, for 480 euros excluding VAT, a technician from their company would come to reinstall CCMX on the new machine.
I would like to know if it's with our CDs or if they have their own CDs.
As of today, I have had no solution....
Well, good luck

Hello,

For XP, SQL 2000 SP3a or SP4 (or MSDE) would have been preferable.
Otherwise: Install SQL2005 in MIXED Authentication mode + Service Pack.

Restart then install CCMX WinWinner.

Otherwise,

Install SQL 2000 in MIXED Authentication mode + Service Pack.
Install WinWinner.

Best regards

I have the solution under XP to avoid the famous ADMIN message to view and print your invoices.

I cannot give you the solution on this forum because we are dealing with a program (ccmx) that I find shameful. We worked for 4 days on this program to bypass the infamous ADMIN message for printing and viewing invoices. We managed to do it anyway. For it to work, you need to replace 2 small files in Windows with two others. As a result, you will no longer have the ADMIN message. Several people on this forum have already been helped thanks to this manipulation.

It is impossible to print because it asks for "admin" + a code.
What can I do to get around this problem?

Thank you Laurent Nunès,
I am missing the SQL 2000 CD (I think it can be found online...), so how should I proceed (how to refer to a network installation), during the installation I have the choice between Main Network PC or standalone... should I point SQL 2000 to a local or network database? And where is this database located?

Hello everyone,

Most of my problems with CCMX Sales have been resolved thanks to you, thanks again.

My latest issue is that when I click on Management Settings, I get a 'Run-time error 13: Type Mismatch' message.

If anyone has encountered this problem before, I would be very grateful for your help.

Best regards,

Didier.

Hello,
Didier encountered this problem while using the ccmx winner billing:

when I click on Management Settings, I get a message 'execution error 13 incompatible type'

I have exactly the same message and I would like to know if anyone has the solution.
I also encounter the problem with the password and username that the program asks for during printing and which Jean provides the solution for by email only.

Hello

I installed CCMX WINNER in 2003 on a PC with XP as the operating system. Today, that PC has died, so I've bought a new PC with Vista. The problem is that I can't reinstall CCMX on it
I've read several threads but can't find anything. If someone has a solution, it would be kind of them to let me know

Thank you all for your answers

Which software exactly?

CCMX Winner (several CDs: explorer, accounting, assets, brochure), CCMX expert Winner (1 CD + sql2000), CCMX WinWinner (1 CD + ccmx environment)?

Hello Laurent,
I have been a user of CCMX TWIN for a long time, and I am trying unsuccessfully to open the 2009 exercise.
(version 5.12 WinXP SP3)
Few users seem to encounter this problem, and CEGID is suggesting buying new software.
Can you confirm this blockage for me?
Thank you - GérardV25

Hello,

My company has a version of CCMX WinWinner and "N" floating licenses. It is installed on a Windows 2000 server, and the clients connect remotely to this server via RDP.

Every person who has access rights to the servers is part of a group named "CCMX" (this group has all the necessary rights to run the application). Therefore, each of our users has exactly the same rights on the server.

However, when certain users try to start the CCMX software, it does not launch and gets stuck on the "loading" screen. Yet the installation is the same on every session (due to RDP usage), the rights are the same because they are part of a group, and it is not a floating license problem because, if a user whose session does not want to launch the application is the only one logged into the server, the software still does not start.

My colleague and I have searched for days and days but found no solutions. That's why I am reaching out to see if anyone has encountered this problem before and might know the solution.

I hope I have been clear in my explanations, and I thank you in advance for the time you will devote to me.

Hello,

I had never thought about the installation problems with ccmx. I just joined a company, and I'm setting up the accounting with a very slow computer, so I asked the manager to buy a new one and he did. So I'm going to reinstall the software on Windows Vista, before doing anything foolish could you please tell me if ccmx twin version 5.12 is compatible with Windows Vista? We no longer have support, I see that in previous conversations, people talk about codes? I found the CD, as well as the user manual but I don’t see any code, it wouldn’t surprise me if my former colleague threw it away to put me in trouble since I took her position.

Could you please indicate how to proceed if I need codes? And is it possible to install and uninstall (if it doesn't work) ccmx on Windows?

Thank you in advance.

Good evening Laurent

I have read all the messages and I think you are a specialist in ccmx
I will soon be installing a new 2003 server at a client's site
he currently has a 2003 server installed in workgroup mode because the last ccmx technician who did the installation was unable to set it up in domain mode, so I don't want to complicate the new installation
he has SQL 2000 and 5 XP workstations
I am only changing the server
1/ Can I keep the XP workstations as they are?
2/ If I understood correctly, I need to first install SQL, then the environment, and finally ccmx
but how do I handle the database from the old server, import/export or copy?
if you perhaps have an installation procedure
he uses winner gescom in client/server mode with SQL Server 2000
thank you for your help as I have seen your dedication on the post
