TV reception issues due to trees?

Hello,
I have a particularly specific problem with receiving TV channels for which I would like your input.
I have a detached house on a 2500m2 plot, surrounded by trees, with a rooftop antenna and an amplifier. The reception can be very good on all channels (TF1, A2, FR3, Arte, M6, TMC) and then degrade (the worst being TF1, A2, FR3), before becoming good again after several hours. There can also be the opposite scenario where there is initially poor reception followed by improvement. The weather doesn't seem to play a role. When the reception is disturbed, the picture progressively degrades, becomes black and white, the channels get mixed up, and two perpendicular bars appear (like a Swiss flag). The sound also deteriorates until there's a very loud and unbearable whistle. The improvement can happen gradually or suddenly.
I have, of course, spoken to my antenna installer who has no explanation for the phenomenon apart from possibly the presence of tall trees around the house. He is not sure that a new antenna would solve the problem.
Has anyone encountered this problem? Do you have any solutions to propose to me?
Thank you in advance
