Hello,
I just installed the updates for the Nokia N95 8GB
everything went well until the restart, then it asks me for the PIN code
okay, but the problem is that it shows me "unable to power on the phone, please contact your dealer"
thank you for helping me with what to do
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.14

when the phone is off, hold down " * + 3 + green button "
turn on the phone then release the buttons...

I had an N70 that told me "Unable to turn on the phone. Please contact your retailer."
Honestly, thanks for me and my N70, the *3, green button trick worked super well.
Thank you, thank you.

I have a message just when starting my Nokia C5: unable to turn on your phone, contact your dealer.

You could have mentioned incidentally that it led to the loss of all contacts, messages, photos, and videos on the phone...
If there had been another, less drastic solution, I would have liked to know it.

Problem solved, but regarding the owners of Nokia N95 8GB, do not update on the Nokia site using the update feature; keep the existing version because the new one runs too slow and is less efficient.

Which version are you using? And where did you get it from? I removed the SFR version for a Nokia version, I was really happy until I restored my settings with PC Suite and ended up with the same issue as you.

Hello,
I also had this problem with an N73. The solution is easy to find online by typing exactly the title of the message you see on your mobile screen. It's not easy but it works: during startup, keep the *, 3, green button, and on/off button pressed until it asks for the PIN code.

Well, you do what you are asked ^^ you go to your operator or to where you bought your phone so they can explain the problem to you ;)

Hi, could you please tell me the website that allowed you to reset it? Or tell me the steps to do it. Thank you in advance.

and I add that it’s the same thing (formatting the Nokia phone) when you type *#7370# when it is on
