Hello,
I have a Mac G4 on which I recently installed Leopard, and since then I haven't been able to get updates for my antivirus "Virus Barrier". To help me, I'm reporting the error messages:
Your NetUpdate email and password must only contain Roman characters.
Please check your preferences.
The problem is that when checking the preferences, there is no option to change the characters.
I hope someone can help me, thank you for your help, see you soon.

Hello,
In the preferences of NetUpdate, at the very top there is the identification section that shows the email and password.
To modify them, you need to click on the little padlock next to the word "Modify," the system will then ask for the administrator password, and you will later have the option to make the changes.
Best regards

Indeed, we can change the administrator and the password, but the message is: Your NetUpdate Email and password must only contain Roman characters.
Please check your settings.
So it’s a character issue that prevents the connection and not a modification of Email and password.
Thank you anyway, I’m still looking for this issue.
