How to transfer my files to a USB flash drive? Closed

Hello, On my old PC, I could use floppy disks, but on this one, I don't have any. I would like to save the files I have on my desktop PC to a USB flash drive, but I don't know how to proceed.

Hello
Plug your USB drive into a port on your computer
Wait until it stops flashing
Go to My Computer
In the line Devices....etc, check if your drive appears: http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/8701/sanstitrepv9.jpg
Close My Computer
Select the folder or file you want, right-click on it
Send to, left-click on the name of your drive
Let the computer do its work
Safely remove the device
Take out your drive

Hi! You plug in your USB drive. Then you right-click on the files you want to put on it and choose "Send to => Removable Disk." I hope I helped you. See you!

Hi, you buy a USB drive (it's like the lottery, you have to play to win)
you plug it into the PC if you have a USB connection on your PC (of course).
the rest is taken care of by XP.
you go to "My Computer" and click on "Folders", then you will see a new device that should appear (magic, isn't it!)
you take the files you want and visually move them to this new device. The possible size is that of your drive minus 10%.

I never said that I currently have a PC with a floppy disk; I said that it was on the old PC that I had one!!! Now, I want to copy my files and folders to a USB stick.
