Good evening,
For a few hours now, I’ve realized that the remote control for my Samsung TV is malfunctioning. I have indeed tried changing the batteries. When I press the buttons on the remote, the red LED on the TV flashes, but it does not perform the desired action; only the sound controls work. I find this quite strange, and I would like to know if you have any idea about this issue.

Problem solved. I simply changed the batteries and pressed the "Reset" button for three seconds. It is indeed very likely that the issue stemmed from that, poupougne13, given that I remembered a friend of mine had sat on the "end" of the remote control and thus must have accidentally triggered it. At first, I thought it was a shock to the remote control due to its "squeezing," but it seems that your proposed solution is indeed correct... Thank you very much for everything anyway, hoping this can help others in difficulty!
