Hello,

The buttons on my Samsung LED TV remote display UNAVAILABLE in the bottom left corner of the screen and are no longer responding. The sensor under the TV flickers at an irregular frequency and then continues for quite a while.
What should I do?
Thank you in advance for your feedback

Configuration: Android / SamsungBrowser 9.2

I had the same problem,
first: remove the batteries from the remote control and check if the infrared light on the TV still blinks or stays solid. If it stays solid, your remote control has a problem. In my case, a few drops of water fell on it. Anyway, I disassembled the remote control, gave it a good wipe, and it worked again.

Too weird. After 3 days, it works again but only if I give the remote a long enough response time. If I don't wait long enough between two button presses, it freezes again.

OK CEC
you might have a button on your remote that is stuck or simply worn out.
for my part, I tried with my phone, which is a Samsung, using the "smart view" app; it’s a remote for your TV via the phone and it worked, so I deduced that my remote had a problem, makes sense!
check on your side if you can get an app via your phone even if it might not be a Samsung.
otherwise, as a last resort, a universal remote.
keep me updated!

Yes, I finally downloaded an app on my phone and it works perfectly!
So it's the remote control, right?
In that case, do I need to get a universal remote?

I had the same problem. A technician friend took apart the remote, cleaned the rubber and the inside of the remote, and the problem is fixed for good.
