graphics devices not found

Question

Hello,
when I try to open a game like Freecell, an error message saying "no appropriate graphics devices found" appears. In the device manager, the graphics card appears to be fine. Can someone tell me why this is happening and how to fix it? My PC is running Vista, and a clear explanation would be appreciated since I am not an expert in computers. Thank you for your help.

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello and thank you for your response, my card is NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS, and when I click on it, it tells me that this device is active. Have a nice day.

In my case, reverting to the previous driver did the trick. I'm posting this response 2 years later because the problem has reappeared with the latest nVidia drivers.
