In my opinion, the blurring algorithm is like the Instamatic held by a guy who has drunk too much.

It's a well-known algorithm, but to get your PC to decode it, you're going to have to give it a bit of cognac in the RAM!!!

If you do not have the original file (like PSD or XCF) and cannot undo the history, whether compressed or not and regardless of the algorithm, it is impossible to invent imaginary data since it is lost, even in TIFF. Knowing the algorithm would mean having the native file of the software, so the problem wouldn't even arise.

You're really looking for trouble: all you need to do is remove the overlay that's causing the issue, the one that's actually blurring the image, and it will look just fine....
Oh my, what people won't do, here I am to share my tips: just remove the cover from the laundromat before taking the picture and that’s it.....
