Hello,
Hello everyone (the previous one wasn't from me...!)
I'm writing to you because I have no idea, I mean absolutely none, how I could find an answer to my question.
I want to print a little text, a small message with a border to make it look nice (like an old-fashioned label, etc.) so I made my little text in a frame with a border but (and this is the heart of the problem..) where can I find pretty borders? The only ones available are straight lines... double sometimes, but straight... I'm looking for something more elaborate, prettier. I know it exists but then... where ?! I don't even know what it's called or if it can be downloaded...
Yet the labels I've seen were not handmade... or like wedding menus, for example, you see?
There are pretty, floral, elaborate borders... that's what I'm desperately searching for....
Does anyone know where I can find that...?
I use OpenOffice for laptops, that thing that's supposed to be lightweight, etc....
Thank you infinitely for your attention and your time,
Marie

difficult for me with open office, I prefer to download photofiltre.
take 1 image and save it in photofiltre
open photofiltre: file/open ---
IMAGE /outer frame, (choose a color) size 30 pixels (as we want)
SELECTION/everything select
to undo: selection/HIDE, if hide is no longer there do SELECTION/OPEN +
selection hide -- and we start again
SELECTION CONTRACT size 29 pi
SELECTION/inverse
FILTER/choose the background pattern
SELECTION/mask the selection
FILTER/frame/RAISED EDGES / check SMOOTH
with file/open there are plenty of usable drawings.
everything is explained on the photofiltre website
