invalid password Solved

Question

Hello,

I had a very worrying little problem this morning when trying to start my session. I actually entered my password, and I received a message saying that my login or password is not valid.
The user login, since I only have one account, is provided by Vista by default, and my password has been the same for years, so I know it well.
I should mention that before going to bed, Windows notified me of the presence of spywares, but I was so tired that I thought I would deal with it upon waking up.

Well, I still managed to log in with the password "admin" (????), after multiple attempts with various passwords.

I don’t understand what happened, and I’m afraid it might happen again at the next start. Regarding the spyware, there were a lot of Trojan files and downloading programs on the desktop (I don’t know how I didn’t see them yesterday when shutting down my computer), and Avast found 2 win32 (I’m subscribed to it).

My question is whether this situation has happened to someone else, and do you think a malicious program could have changed my password?

Sure, a malware is a log that the hacker sends to gain access to the computer, so they can see everything you type, making it easy to change your password.

try to perform a system restore in safe mode

just when you start the machine press F8 several times and then choose safe mode from the menu that appears.
log in as an administrator and look for system restore which you will initiate

Thank you for your answers, I changed my password and next time I'm alerted to spyware I won't go to bed until I've removed it, that way I'll avoid scaring myself.
Otherwise I think (well it seems to me) that to enter safe mode, you also have to enter your code, ==> the problem wouldn't have been resolved, I had the solution of restoring my hidden partition, but I didn't want to go that far.

Tell me seba_far, is there a specific configuration to do on Spybot because it's a reference in the log. Anti-spyware with its friend Adaware, but personally I find that it finds fewer spyware files than Spyware Doctor. I'm questioning its effectiveness...

I have the same problem!!!

I am an admin on my Windows Vista laptop and it hasn't accepted my password for 2 days! (I've only had it for a week and a half!)
I don't know what to do, help me!!! I didn't plan a password reset disk, I'm just discovering this thing now...
