PB wifi button on AMILO L1310G

Hello,

I have the same problem as many of you, following a formatting of my AMILO L1310G, but it’s no longer under warranty, so I’ve tried all the solutions you’ve proposed (uninstall and reinstall, drivers, power manager, service checks, …) and now I’m completely stuck, I’m having a hard time understanding how this button works and for after-sales service it would cost me more than buying a new wifi key.
But before I invest, would anyone have an answer to share with me???
Thanks for everything.
Have a good evening.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    hello the company,
after several hours spent on my problem, namely after reinstalling XP on my Fujitsu Amilo LI 1720 laptop, my wifi shortcut keys and the fan no longer work (for the fan it's whatever but for wifi it's quite troublesome)
here is my tip to remedy this: to begin with restart the system then enter the bios (F2 at startup), in the advanced tab change the value of wireless to make it appear at startup then F10 to save and exit. after that your wifi is constantly on.
Next, download the driver for your wlan network card (for me I didn't even know the name of my wlan network card in the device manager so in that case hurry to the maconfig.com site to discover it, then download its driver from the net (for me theatheros AR5006X Wireless network card)
i hope this little tip will be useful to some.

We need to install FSC Power Manager which handles the Wi-Fi button.

Go to Fujitsu's website and download in the drivers section the small software named "Power management." It's the one that handles the little buttons on top of the keyboard. It works for me.

On the other hand, I am almost obliged to reinstall them at every startup. It takes 2 seconds, but it's annoying in the long run.

    I hope I helped you ;)

Thank you for your reply, but unfortunately I’ve already done all that and it doesn’t work. I’ll look for another way to enable the Wi-Fi antenna without using the button or to repair it. Have a good day @++
