GPS update Magellan Roadmate 1215 speed cameras

Hello, I have a Magellan RoadMate 1215 GPS... and I can't find any software to update the speed cameras... do you have any solutions?... thanks.. jpp

      Hello, here is the update for the Magellan Roadmate 1200 EU and 1215 EU models. Just click on the orange download button. However, please make a copy of your entire memory card just in case. Then charge your GPS fully. Next, connect it to your computer and turn it on. Then copy the folder to your memory card. Then right-click and "extract files here." Finally, launch the application and it will do it automatically.

    How can I enable the speed cameras on the GPS screen?
    Do I need special software? Or are the updates free?

    same problem as Magellan Roadmate 1215 GPS users. Radar update.
    We should involve consumer protection. It's abnormal that the seller who created this GPS
    does not have a website where updates can be easily made or even for a reasonable fee of 10.00
    euros. It's a scandal to find oneself in a situation where, once purchased, there are so many problems.

    There is no need for any special software, just a copy/paste of the updated file (see the other posts) anywhere on the SD card (putting it in the root should be fine).
    Otherwise, would it be possible for you to email me (jolyfabrice@free.fr) all the files from your card, considering that mine crashed during an update (thanks Windows) and doesn't even start anymore... (FAT corrupted, it seems). Additionally, there is no support from Magellan to help me recover it. I'm left with tinkering.
    So in conclusion, a piece of advice to everyone: MAKE A COMPLETE BACKUP OF THE CARD BEFORE ANY UPDATE! Otherwise, you might end up like me, with a brand new device that no longer works....

      It seems we had the same experience: due to a crash caused, I believe, by Windows, I find myself with an SD card that is either damaged or considered nonexistent. Would you be able to provide me with the contents of this card (Magellan Roadmate 1200)?

    Salut, veux-tu savoir comment on fait les mises à jour ? C'est trop chiant mais j'ai trouvé, tu vas sur le site de (Magellan) et tu trouves une mise à jour dans le téléchargement, ça prend 20 minutes. Bonne chance.

      I have a Magellan Roadmate 1200 and I wanted to buy a Europe map for my vacation in Italy this summer: mission impossible!
      Is it possible to use the Europe map from the 1215 on the 1200? If so, could Amipat or another kind person :) please have the kindness to send me the original files of their Europe map via PM!
      I have the original files of my France map, if that could be useful to someone...
