Hello,
I know that some forums address this question, but after studying them all and trying the proposed solutions, the problem persists. That's why I think mine is different and I am therefore creating my own topic.
For some time now, two weeks to be exact, I haven't been able to access a web page or MSN over Wi-Fi. However, I am sure I am connected since I can, for example, use Emule or even perform updates for Windows and my antivirus.
This problem occurred after a connection via Ethernet cable, which is now the only way I can browse. I found some information on other forums, but nothing works. I suspect that the problem lies in the configuration of Windows or my connection settings since no matter the access point, the problem remains the same.
Thank you for the attention you are giving to my case.

If the browser does not connect (Internet Explorer, Safari, etc.)
even though the internet connection is working (Microsoft Update can download updates)
then
1. Click on Start
2. Click on Run
3. Type cmd then click OK
4. Type this in the MS-DOS command prompt: netsh winsock reset
5. Press the Enter key on your keyboard
5. Restart your computer
6. Test your internet access by launching Internet Explorer
Normally, if the problem is with the browser, this should work.

Hello, I do this, but it requires me to be an administrator.
Yet the user is indeed me.
I'm stuck.
