Hello,
Is it interesting to buy a factory overclocked graphics card?
Can you achieve the same results by purchasing a "standard" card and then pushing it to match the performance of a factory OC card, especially for a lower price?
I was thinking of the XFX 9800 GTX XXX edition, which is factory overclocked to 740 MHz...
Thank you

Hello,
The advantage of a factory overclocking card is simply that you don’t have to overclock it yourself^^. Also, the settings are in the graphics card's BIOS, so they are permanent. And normally, the cooling system should be suitable for the overclocking. Basically, it’s just more convenient (overclocking a card is also a bit harder than overclocking a processor).
