Hello dear internet users,

I am new to this forum and I need your help: indeed, for the past 3 days, no sound has been coming from my speakers. I have scoured almost all the forums to find solutions to my problem, tried all the manipulations, such as checking if the Mute box in the volume control was unchecked, reinstalling the drivers for my sound card, restarting the AUDIO service in the Windows services manager...., but nothing works, the problem persists. I also plugged my speakers into my mp3 player to see if the problem was there, but they worked perfectly.
When I open music with WMP, it plays it (as the progress bar moves) but no sound comes out! And on sites like YouTube or Dailymotion, the video I start stops after 2 seconds (yes, I checked if the video was fully loaded)!
Could you please provide me with other solutions? This problem occurred just after I cleaned the fan and the CPU radiator, do you think I may have touched something I shouldn't have, or is it just a coincidence?

My configuration: Windows XP Home Edition SP2,
browser: Firefox 2.0.0.14
sound card: Creative Audio PCI ES1370 (SB PCI 64/128 WDM).

Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows XP Home Edition SP2 Firefox 2.0.0.14

My email was able to go through, even though each time I tried, it told me that my SMTP server was unavailable. It’s like that every evening starting at 5 PM, and despite that, every now and then it goes through. So don’t be surprised if you receive this driver 2 or 3 times.

Go to the Device Manager, Audio controllers ... , Audio codecs, right-click to Update driver.
Do not accept Windows to search automatically, but choose the location where you placed the Ensoniq driver files.

Click on Troubleshoot to start troubleshooting for this device." but clicking on troubleshooting does nothing
