Audio recording issue FL Studio

Hello,

I’m using FL Studio XXL (I have version 7 and version 8) for my compositions.
I want to record my voice over my music, but the problem is that every time I record, the sound of my voice gets mixed with my music.
I would like to be able to separate the two while still keeping the sound of my music in my headphones for the recording.
(So I can stay in the rhythm!!!)

You need to go to the mixer, select an unused track, and in Input, select "Mic".
A little click on record, and off you go, you'll hear the music and record your voice. (if necessary, a quick trip to the Windows control panel to select mic in the recording section of the sound card)

  then you choose your sound card and everything will be fine ;) good luck

When I record my voice on FL Studio 9, there is a small delay of about 1 second before I hear my voice in the headphones/speakers, making it impossible to focus and record well. Can someone please help me?

  The delay is called latency, and the solution is:
  Disconnect your internet connection, then disable your antivirus and firewall.
  Close all unnecessary programs.
  And buy a sound card, maybe also some RAM and a more powerful processor.

  I would say there is a way, before buying 1.5 tons of equipment, to mute the microphone during playback.
  
  When you sing yourself, you hear what you're doing, and the voice will be recorded in sync with the music.

    I also encountered issues with latency/feedback on FL Studio 12 with my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2.
    In fact, this occurred only after selecting my audio input in the Mixer.
    I was hearing a delay in what was played by my instrument (a Roland SP404 connected to the interface’s input) and what was to be recorded in the Mixer (that is to say, the same thing). Even after setting the buffer length to its minimum (3ms), it still felt like there was a more or less pronounced phaser effect.
    
    I resolved my issue by disabling sound playback while recording from the Edison audio editor (muting the Insert track in the Mixer was pointless because then nothing would be recorded).
    
    To do this, you need to open the Mixer, choose the Insert column where you want to record, select the corresponding input for your instrument (guitar, sampler, or mic...) from the dropdown menu at the top right, then choose the Edison plugin by selecting it from the dropdown menu of the right column or by right-clicking on the Insert column and selecting "Open audio editor" from the displayed menu.
    When Edison is open, simply click on the little speaker icon located next to the "Edison" name/logo at the top right to disable it.
    
    The sound to be "recorded" will no longer be heard but it will still be recorded, so no more latency issues.

Shhhhiiittt if you find it, let me know. I've been making beats for 5 years and I still don't know, but otherwise I put my beat on my mp3 and I record my voice on Audacity and then I overlay the two.
