I tried the one with the red edges (you see?) and it works well. For my PC, it has a flat glass screen (brand Gotive).

Hello
I would like to know if the toothpaste trick works on a Samsung GT S5230 (if anyone has tried it). Thank you in advance.

At least your computers will breathe the freshness of a healthy breath.
And how are your computer's teeth, Thomas? lol

I tried using toothpaste on the screen of my Samsung F490 (which I scratched while using the stylus! Great!) and it didn't work! The scratches are still there! SNIFF SNIFF! Is there a specific way to use toothpaste?

Hello everyone,

I tried toothpaste on my Samsung LCD. I only have one scratch on my screen, but up close, it is noticeable. You can't even feel it to the touch. Unfortunately, after using the toothpaste and a soft cloth, it is still there, unchanged.
If anyone can suggest something more effective, I'll be grateful.

The toothpaste gives me no results! Really, I tried it twice, but really no results at all. Fortunately, I didn't try it on my touchscreen phone, I tried it on an old and quite scratched phone instead!

In your opinion, can we apply your trick on a digital device screen?

Hello,

I haven't tried the toothpaste yet, but I would like to know what brand of toothpaste you used, please.

Thank you for your help.

Best regards ;)

euhh sorry for the lateness (is that how you say it?) I had seen in a video the Signal mouthwash toothpaste, I think...
but it works with all toothpastes ;-)

Hello,

I tried your tip because I have a big scratch on my LG Viewty screen, and unfortunately, it didn't work. Do I need to use a specific kind of toothpaste?

My phone is still under warranty; do you think the warranty covers screen replacement?

Thank you for replying fairly quickly.

Best regards.

Hello,

I’ve had a LE40A856 for a week and suddenly! On the plastic or plexiglass around the screen, I have a scratch or rather a mark from a cloth. Is your method applicable?

Thank you for your response

Good evening, I have this problem but on my laptop, which I bought last Wednesday (what a pain) actually there was something stuck on the side of the screen, so I rubbed it with a chamois and a little water and as a result, there are a lot of scratches, it's pissing me off. Will your technique work on that or not??? Please reply quickly because it's driving me crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy lol

Hi, I really have a great solution, which is to use Miror (a product sold in supermarkets for cleaning brass).
First, shake the Miror bottle and lightly soak a cotton ball with Miror. Rub the glass or plastic in circles, applying quite firmly for ten minutes.
Second, take a clean cotton ball and remove the Miror. You need to flip the cotton several times and change it often.
Third, move on to the finishing touch. With a brand-new cotton ball, polish the glass or plastic.

Hi Alexboy!
What did you do it on?
Honestly, I don’t see how toothpaste or anything else could remove scratches... A hole is a hole, it's like trying to fill a trench with water... The water goes away but the hole stays!

Hello
does it work on the edge of a flat-screen TV made of plastic!! I've had it for less than a week and it's already full of scratches, I'm so disappointed!!

It didn't work for me (on the screen of my LG Viewty). I applied a little bit of Signal White Now toothpaste by hand, I rubbed, rubbed, and rubbed some more, I wet my finger and then went over it with a soft cotton pad, but it didn't work!!!!

On how do we apply the toothpaste and why do we press hard with the toothpaste? For large but not deep scratches.

I just tested the method on my Samsung F490 that I scratched this week, alas as I expected, the method didn't work (deep scratch made by my keys, for once I wasn't paying attention), despite using Sensodyne Pro lol the ultimate solution remains to change the screen, but given the cost, I'll stick with my scratch at least now I'll be more careful.
If anyone has tested an effective product for deep scratches, especially on a touchscreen, feel free to let me know. As for the solution proposed by Alexboy, which is to use a copper cleaner named Mirror, I will test it when the phone is dead because given that there are hydrocarbon derivatives in it, personally I'm afraid of the phone's discoloration, I prefer to keep my scratch rather than exchange it for a halo. After all, everyone does what they want at their own risk.

Salut, I have scratched my screen very slightly, you can see it as soon as it's off in the dark with a bit of light on it lol. I have an Acer AL1916W, is there a plastic protection on the screen??? Thanks in advance.

Well, I recently got an iPhone and I take good care of it, but yesterday I noticed there was a big scratch on it. I'm sad, I've only had it for a week and nothing happened for such a scratch to appear (I mean, it's not huge either) and I would really like to minimize it, it’s driving me crazy lol. Does the toothpaste trick work on this kind of screen?

I confirm that toothpaste works on a micro scratch!
I just tested it on my Sony Ericsson W660i: A little Aquafresh3 (with my fingertip!) in circular motions on the scratched area, then add a drop of water when the paste starts to dry before wiping with a damp soft cloth!
I repeated the process a second time for a better result!

By the way, I want to clarify that there is no screen protector and sorry for the mistake from ==> one ;)...

See you!
