Rappelz: unable to launch it Solved/Closed

Hello,
I downloaded the latest version of Rappelz and I'm installing it, but when I try to launch it, my computer freezes or an incomprehensible message appears
I already tried running it as an administrator, but nothing works

Configuration: Windows Vista Home Premium edition AMD 2.20GHz dual-core processor 2GB RAM 500GB HDD Firefox 2.0.0.13

Il faut aller sur le raccourci là où tu l'as installé, faire un clic droit et choisir Propriétés. Compatibilité
Tu mets en Windows 98 et ensuite tu coches la case Exécuter en tant qu'administrateur.

I did as you said, it still doesn't work. I did properties and Windows 98, then run as administrator, and it still doesn't launch...

for me it was the same, I set it to XP compatibility mode (instead of 98). And it's already working better ^^

I am using Vista. I successfully downloaded Rappelz, but when I try to install it, it just lags or it crashes my computer. I've tried downloading it from different servers... nothing, and "run as administrator" I'm not going to click on that because when I right-click, it only asks for properties.

Hello everyone, I'm different, I'm using Vista Home Basic. After extracting the file, I see the application, and I try to launch it, but even though I see the loading symbol, nothing happens, even after 10 minutes! From what I see, we all have different issues. Could someone please respond to me?

If you have Vista, you wait 30 minutes (and yes, it's long ^^) and the authorization will arrive, and normally there shouldn't be any problem during the installation, but for more precision, I refer you to this subject, where I have already explained everything :)

Salut, moi je le télécharge, je le lance, ça marche. Je quitte le jeu et puis le problème pour le relancer, il faut faire une mise à jour qui dure 7 heures max, alors qu'il est déjà mis à jour. Après cette mise à jour, plus rien, ça marche plus.

He had a lot of problems with Vista too; right-click on the icon and run as administrator, or you can reinstall. That's what I did, and it works perfectly ;)

I downloaded the game and installed it without any problem. Then I launch it, the two download bars progress to 100%... then go back to zero, and there, nothing happens, it doesn't progress anymore. Does anyone have a solution?   Thanks  Camille

Thank you all and Camille, I have the solution: right-click on the Rapellz shortcut, go to Properties, Compatibility, set it to Windows 98, check "Run this program as an administrator," and it works :p
