Hello,
I have this problem at startup and the screen displays "ACER" and at the bottom "del: enter setup f12: boot menu"
I opened the "beast" and the CPU fan doesn't turn on but the case fan does, no beeps at startup, obviously I tried the F12 key and the others, just in case, but nothing happens, does anyone have an idea of the problem? Thanks in advance

I have the same issue, but since my mouse is connected to the front USB, I just need to unplug it or buy a PCI USB card to install inside the PC.

So for this issue I had the same problem.
But it's resolved now halfway, well if we want to.
It’s one of the USB ports that blocks the boot of the PC, so I rebooted the PC with an 8 GB USB stick from Toshiba formatted in FAT32.
And now it works normally.
However, if I remove it, it won't reboot anymore.
On the other hand, I made all the possible and unimaginable changes in the BIOS but without success.
On the positive side, the PC returns to normal. -
Hello!
I have exactly the same problem (slight difference, I'm on XP), but apparently, no one is inspired to help...
I installed the Nokia software to transfer music and I feel like that's when my PC started refusing to boot...
If anyone has an idea, I'm all ears!
Thanks -
I also have the same issue with this PC, all the fans are running, it even seems like the PC starts but it only shows the Acer welcome screen, no way to enter the setup
the RAM is fine
the CPU too
the power supply too
the hard drive
the graphics chip too
it looks like a faulty motherboard
does anyone have an idea?
no way to boot from the DVD to reformat the hard drive. -
Identical problems and symptoms with me :-(
ACER ASPIRE T180 2B7Z stuck on the ACER homepage, unable to access the BIOS. Is my motherboard dead??
Help please -
