Page Number Color in Word

Hello,
I would like, in Word, a different color for the page numbering than black. How can I change the color that always stays black despite all my attempts?
Here are my tries:
1) Select all / Format / Font / Font color. The text is in the desired color but not the numbering.
2) Insert / Page number / Format. There is no option for font color.
