Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to connect a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive inside a PC case to a 3.5 or 5.25 bay, since the connectors are the same, are the power voltages identical and positioned at the same place on the connectors of the drives?
In short, can I directly connect my 2.5-inch SATA laptop hard drive to my central unit without using an adapter for data recovery?
Thank you for your answers.
Best regards

The SATA connectors and SATA power connectors are identical between 2.5 inches and 3.5 inches.

Hi, I have a 2.5 SATA external hard drive that is not being detected on my PC. When I display the device manager, it shows the hard drive but 0 bytes!!
