access issue with the fnac website

Question

Good evening everyone,
it's been a while since I haven't been able to connect to the Fnac website.
Every time I try, my computer crashes and the CPU usage is at its maximum. I don't know where the problem comes from :(.
If someone could help me, I would be immensely grateful :)

I was thinking about a site blockage by your antivirus... If you have a list of unwanted sites and this site is mistakenly on it, it can block you.
Another possibility, if you're with Numéricable: I've seen on the forum that they had a problem of this kind that they were trying to solve...

Hi, I have the same problem. I have Vista and I'm with Orange. As soon as I try to access the FNAC website, the web page starts to load and crashes, leading to the device manager and stopping the program to solve the issue.
Do you have any information about this problem? Did you resolve it? Is it the FNAC website that is bugging?

I have also had this issue for several months with the Fnac website.
I can't open the page, forcing me to open the task manager to terminate Internet Explorer.
This is the site I have this problem with.

If anyone has an explanation or a solution to this problem, I am interested!

I also have the same problem on the Fnac website and sometimes even on the SFR site... I've tried a lot of things but nothing seems to work.... I have to use ctrl alt delete but then my PC usually crashes...
It's frustrating, my PC is new! I've had it for a month.... If anyone has a solution since then, please help me!!!

Same for me since the end of December 2008.

I am a regular FNAC member and even a frequent customer of fnac.com. But since then I have given up because it's impossible to access the site normally, and once inside, it's impossible to read the entire content of a page even if I completely disconnect Norton. My computer runs on Vista, but before the end of 2008, it worked perfectly.

No similar issues with all other sites.

Hello  Having the same issue, I found the solution on another site, I'm sharing it with you  In IE: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Click on the "Reset" button

Yes, the Fnac website is a real hassle to navigate. I don't understand why a company like Fnac doesn't respond quickly to address this problem.

I have exactly the same problem with the Fnac website on my new computer, and it has been like this from the beginning!!!

I randomly did the reset mentioned by gg21 and ... it WORKED!!!!!!

Well, I don't understand why, because it didn't work from the start, even though it's supposed to be initialized... But anyway, the important thing is that it works!!!
