Connection issue: ameli site unavailable Closed

HELP
I'm cracking up! It's been 3 months that I can't connect to my social security page to check my transactions.
History
Before, with the social security number + a 5-digit code, no problem, everything was fine.
Since the first connection code changed to a code between 8 and 15 digits, it's impossible for me to connect.
I'm stuck on the identification page. I've allowed cookies, so that's not it.
I'm on my 6th code and NOBODY is able to answer my problem which might be technical.
Am I the only one?
I've tried everything even a sit-in at my social security agency, no luck, no one could help me.
I called the head office who listened to me as if I were crazy!!!

I had the same problem and I just solved it.
On the page that follows the acceptance of the terms, you need to re-enter the temporary code and create a new one. Be careful though, as you should only use NUMBERS. After that, no more issues. Thanks to the Ameli project team and to the lady with whom I did the process again. Good news, they are working on the subject.

Hello,  This message will not bring the slightest solution as I have been living the same ordeal since the beginning of July 2008.  The start of the connections was fine with the code sent by CPAM. It was also fine with setting up a personalized code after the initial connections using the default confidential code sent by CPAM. Then, since the end of June - beginning of July, no access was possible. Account locked (with the different attempts, it was to be expected). An email was sent to AMELI on July 2nd, with no response by 07/08/2008.  Furthermore, this AMELI login page is based on a very questionable concept:  - no message indicating the number of remaining attempts, - no message indicating whether the error is related to the Social Security Number or the confidential code (although if this precision existed, it would increase the risk of hacking...), - no direct URL with the Webmaster for a request (via email) to reset one's login (for example),  It's also surprising that in case of a problem, codes are sent by mail. AMELI could use the email address of the member (as in many websites). A week has passed since the first problems and the request for a code by mail. A week later, still no new code....  So, this email to confirm that you are not alone in experiencing this problem.  Best regards

Look no further, this is neither your fault nor your computer's, but indeed the CPAM's!
For me, it's been impossible to access my account for several months.

I called: “Yes, we know, many of our subscribers can no longer connect because we have changed service providers for managing our database and some accounts have disappeared without them knowing why. They are working on it, try again in about 3 weeks, it should be working again”

3 weeks later: no improvement.

A few months later and numerous phone calls later: the same issue!

A few days ago, I sent an email to have a written record and to complain (after giving birth, moving around is almost impossible for now and hello to all the phone calls to update everything or consult my file), here is the response (full of mistakes by the way):
“Following your email, I inform you that we have analyzed the causes of this malfunction but we have not yet found the corrective actions to remedy this malfunction. Therefore, you cannot access your ameli account.

Thank you for your understanding.

I remain at your disposal.

Your Health Insurance Advisor,”

In short, it's not going to be fixed anytime soon with such incompetence!!!

Like almost everyone, I’ve just noticed that the Health Insurance website is inaccessible. After reading various testimonials, it’s clear that this organization is taking us for fools by doing nothing to fix this problem for months. The cherry on top is that the demo touting the merits of this online service invites us to save the planet by avoiding paper waste. Don't beat around the bush with this ameli.fr, you might end up going round in circles!

What a shame! If you have health insurance and access it online, if they have reimbursed you, the Social Security has already processed it first. The funniest thing is that I received a reimbursement with my AMELI code in July. The reimbursements come from Limoges, that says it all about the mess.

And nothing better, still no connection possible! I've been on sick leave for 4 months and I'd really like to know the status of my reimbursements!
Can anyone tell me if going to the social security office has terminals that provide reimbursement statements??

The problem is still not resolved and is unlikely to be: here is the last response I received to my latest harassment email => In response to your request, I inform you that a computer incident still prevents us from providing you with a temporary code to access our "your ameli account" service.  However, you can check the history of your reimbursements through our voice server "Allo Sécu" by dialing 3646 (communication at the cost of a local call) and having your 6-digit confidential code indicated on your breakdown statements.   This is an automatic copy-paste because I had just told them that I cannot do their 4-digit number nonsense because I am not with France Télécom, so it costs me too much. They must be receiving requests by the hundreds and are not even reading them anymore :(  I will send a letter to the Minister of Health's office and I urge you to do the same. We'll see if it changes anything .....

Yet I've checked: my registration number is correct and the 6-digit pass is the one that worked before. Can't contact them!!! They tell me to go to the Caisse! It’s on this site that I learn I need an 8-digit pass! Who provides it? I’m trembling because on January 1, 2009, they want to eliminate paper reimbursement forms. What will we have left? Hello, you’re not the only one with this problem. I’ve called social security three times to tell them it’s not working, and each time they send me a code that doesn’t change anything. Their service is awful. Today I called them again and they told me they’ve been having issues for several weeks and to try again in a week to ten days. I can’t even check my account. They would have been better off keeping the old system with the social security number and the 6-digit code. Good luck!

Hi,  I see I'm not the only one having connection issues. Today marks six months since I first tried to log in after nearly 10 temporary codes. They're really useless! The only solution I've found: change the code, but they don't even know why. The worst part of this story is that you can't even contact them by email... Loser!

PHEW! After I don't know how many codes received by mail, 7 or 8 (see my message on this forum from 29/10/08), the last code finally worked.  Let me explain: my account was blocked. I got to the point where even my name was "unknown" in my ameli account; I was not in the system as an insured person. It was a complete mess.  I was fed up with the codes that didn't even work. I called 3646, then dialed my department number (75 for Paris...) and I spoke to a gentleman who listened to me well and to whom I explained the predicament I was in, mentioning that I wasn't the only one in this mess (thinking of you all in this forum) and stating that the social security wants to eliminate paper statements in January 2009. The gentleman told me that my account was simply blocked, that he would activate it and request a new temporary code. I won't hide from you that when I received the famous code, I thought it wouldn't work just like before. Fortunately, this time it worked. IT'S THE MIRACLE OF THE WEEK!!!! at least for now Here's what you need to do: call the famous 3646 hoping it will work for you too!

If it can help a few people: we tried after several unsuccessful attempts (and as many codes sent back by the CPAM). Finally, I finally succeeded today. My first attempt had still failed... I then changed browsers; instead of using Internet Explorer, I used Firefox (Mozilla). For those who don't know, it's another internet browser - an alternative to Explorer, and it's free. And there... miracle, it worked.  Good luck...

Hello, This morning I went to the ameli site and oh surprise, I needed a first 9-digit code that I didn't know about!!! I saw your forum: no obvious solution! I therefore restarted my search by entering ameli through another site that leads there by searching for ameli on Google and there I found an ameli site that asks for the SS number followed by the provisional code sent by the SS that I had never changed and it works! So be careful to find the right ameli site among the 5 or 6 that Google opens.

To get information, I call their number 820...., a voice advises me to dial 3642, the usual price of a local call... I dial it, that number doesn't exist. Hello,  I am one of the rejected users of AMELI. I just read all the posts, and in light of this sad reading, there are or have been several types of issues. I will therefore describe mine to see if we are blocked at the same point.  1) On the homepage, in the left banner, I click on the icon "access my reimbursements in real time" - "I open my account"  2) I am on a window where I need to enter my social security number and a confidential code.  3) I enter my social security number with 13 digits and the confidential code (the one I just received).  The message returned is as follows: ==> Error: Incorrect password (check the password or social security number). Warning, your account will be blocked after three attempts.  My social security number is correct and I retry to verify the entry of the code.  Can someone help me? I am on my second request for a code and I am preparing to make a third.  Thank you.

Request a new code from your social security and recreate an ameli account, then once finished, change your code to a password of 10 DIGITS, it worked for me, I don't see what problem could block your ameli account. Good luck and let me know if you succeeded.

Hello, Actually, for more than 2 months now, I have been trying to access my AMELI account and I can't do it. Each time, I request a new confidential code, but when I enter it to open my account, it doesn't work because the code is never valid for the CPAM. I know that this code lasts only 15 days, yet it has only been 3 days since I received it by mail and it still doesn't work. So I would like to unsubscribe because it has now been over three months that I am struggling without being able to see my reimbursements, so what is the point? Moreover, I no longer receive any mail from my fund? And I can't unsubscribe, I really regret having created an account; I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. In the end, we will always be the losers in this matter.

Hello everyone, I would like to respond to this forum because I am a Social Security employee. I often deal with issues related to the Ameli Account, and in 90% of connection problems, it's a user error. Let me explain
When creating your account, you're asked to enter your Social Security number (without the key) followed by the temporary code
Then you arrive at a page that asks you to enter your old code and confirm your new code twice, and that's where the problem arises. The old code is the one you just received, which means the temporary one (not a code you have already created). Then the new code must consist of between 8 and 13 digits, only numbers and no letters, no Social Security number, no date of birth and no series of numbers (222222222, 33333333, etc....)
I hope this little advice will help you, because indeed I repeat, 90% of the complaints I handle are resolved this way.
For the remaining 10%, it's a national problem or their file is not up to date

It's been over 2 years since I've been unable to access my account because it always says "user not recognized," and yet they are still reimbursing my prescriptions. I must have called at least 10 times and always get the same response that it is due to their service provider, since ameli.fr changed service providers for managing their databases. It's possible that data was lost during the transfer, but I wonder what the new providers are waiting for to recreate the lost databases. If I were ameli.fr, I would change service providers because these ones seem incompetent, given that they are unable to recreate lost databases. For my part, I've been unable to access my ameli.fr account since January 2008. So I suppose many of us experienced the same thing; as long as they haven't entered our details into their databases, we won't be able to access our accounts, and moreover, at the Social Security office, I was told there was nothing they could do since it wasn't their fault. I would like to tell Ameli's husband that if there is a 90% usage error, the problem may not lie with the user but rather with the website interface... people may be stupid, myself included, but such a number is no joke! IT WOULD BE MORE THAN TIME TO USE LOGICAL WORDS AND REDO THIS F*****G HELP!!!! (sorry, I want to blow the provider's face off with a shotgun)  logically, a PERSONAL code is a username that can be clearly seen while entering it, yet when we are asked to change our PERSONAL code, we see it displayed as MASKED, it is actually a password, or a CONFIDENTIAL code  the solution is simple, and yet I am far from being a fool in computing but when things are not clear, they are not clear... the labels of the 3 fields need to be changed with clarity, logic, and precision.  I don't dare imagine the cost of all this but I think it's shameful  it's time to reassess things at the ministry or else to deflower Ameli...  ps: slight anger :)

Dear Damps, I allow myself to respond to your suggestions. First of all, I never said that the problems came from the users, just that 90% of complaints are due to improper use. Yes, the system could be simpler; we are passing on information and little by little, progress is being made, so be patient, one day Ameli will be top-notch. I also want to remind you that users have the option to view the help slide for creating their account, which unfortunately is not viewed enough :( I also remind you that when you request a code, if you haven't received it after 5 days, PLEASE BE PATIENT (average waiting time is 10 days for the Île-de-France region at this time) and do not request codes again... because the next one in your mailbox will be the first one you requested and it definitely will not work. I have examples of people who request a code every 2 days or request one code online, one by phone, one by email, and why not one by mail, all within a week. There is also an error message issue on Ameli; when the server is not working, you may receive different messages like unknown user, unrecognized password, etc.... please be patient until the next day and try logging in again. And finally, I remind everyone that if there is a problem with your attachment to your CPAM, your Ameli account will not work. It's simply idiotic.  As for me, I don't make incessant requests for new codes, I asked once and received once.  It's really not much to do... it's even distressing to the highest degree considering how grossly incompetence is demonstrated.  It's like using tables for HTML... but that's another subject...

Hello,  I have serious problems with these lazy people too!!! On September 4 (or 6, I don’t remember), I went to my office in the 92. I asked to transfer my file from the 03 office to the 92 office, as I had moved.  The guy took all the necessary documents from me. I took the opportunity to fill out my paperwork for changing my bank account and my primary care physician...  Only, faced with a heap of incompetence and laziness, my file took ... 4 months of delay!!!  The transfer should have taken a month (which is already quite a lot). So a month later, I go back to my office in the 92, because I haven't received anything! The guy in front of me says "It must be a postal issue. Come back in 2 weeks."  Two weeks later, nothing ... The same guy’s response "Oh, yes, anyway, we're changing the computer system, for 10 days we can’t do anything! Come back in 15 days, it will be sorted!"  Not even embarrassed to take a month late and to come up with the phrase "come back in 15 days"! Anyway, I come back 15 days later and there: "It’s probably the 03 office that has the delay. Come back in 15 days, they will be done." This person with limited mental capacity didn't even bother to check. When 15 days later I still have nothing, I go back to see him... I suggest he call the 03 office to see what’s going on... "It’s not my job to call them! Otherwise, I'll never finish!!!" "Well, and me, I keep coming to chase you every 15 days, I’m the one who can’t finish!" I reply. "It’s not my problem."  Now that’s a response! Bravo! Anyway, I called them and sorted the situation out...  Only, in December, I still haven’t been reimbursed for my claims from October... So I call... And there, I’m told that my account is closed and they can’t reimburse me... The person with reduced brain capacity is starting to really get on my nerves!!! What did he do with my bank account details and the forms I filled out!!! Well, I fill out the forms again, but 2 weeks later, I’m reimbursed only 30% instead of 70%... Because one person, I’ll let you guess who, must have lost the forms regarding my primary care physician!!! I had to make complaints, and to this day, I’m still not reimbursed for my care form from 10/21/09... Amounting to 150 € by the way...  As for AMELI, I requested by phone that they send me a code... on December 17. It’s February 2 and I still have nothing! It’s not for lack of chasing them! I had to call 4 times in January... What a bunch of incompetent people!  I fear I’ll end up in a madhouse with them!!!  Good luck to all those dealing with them.

Like you, I received my ameli code, I wanted to log in, and to my surprise, when I tried to enter the new code it said the new code was invalid.  P.S.: we don't take naps all day... come to a social security center and you'll see we're doing everything except napping... as well as on the telephone platform.

No, the message from ""E SAUVEUR?!!, on August 19, 2008, at 14:55:45" does not provide the solution.  Without having read it beforehand, I correctly entered my temporary confidential code (the one from the letter) in the first box, then a new personal confidential code made up of at least 8 digits in the next two fields.  Of course, I encountered THE BUG: "Your temporary confidential code is incorrect". I was forced to return to the home page of ameli.fr. There, it was impossible to reconnect.  We are in the midst of French Administrative Capharnaüm! Social Security in all its glory! Why make things simple when we can make them complicated? - An 8-digit code, I’ve never seen that! (While an alphanumeric code of 45 characters would be easier to remember and more secure. (Ex: "The IT of Social Security is crap!") - On ALL sites, EXCEPT that of Social Security, when you enter a wrong code (maybe 3 times), you can receive a new one IMMEDIATELY by email. It's sufficiently secure. But no! We are in France. We are at Social Security. So, they found it simpler to send us a code BY MAIL, which is SLOW and has a COST, which WE PAY. - On ALL sites, EXCEPT that of Social Security, when you have something to request, you write to webmaster@site.net or info@site.fr, or commercial@site.com. Well, at Social Security, you have to GO TO YOUR ACCOUNT to write to the webmaster! Too funny!  Well, apart from that, I am on my 3rd letter requesting a code. What should I do now? Any ideas?

I'm here to respond, I work as a hostess at a security center and how can I explain to you (because it seems you have a bit of trouble with this) that we at the centers do not process files!!!!! We just take the files and send them to headquarters! We do not know why the files may get lost afterwards!!! You have to stop thinking that us poor hosts/hostesses who deal with policyholders are the ones who process your files!!!  Moreover, for those who call us incompetent, good-for-nothings, who do nothing all day, and so on...(by the way, we are not civil servants!!) you do not know what we do so shut up. Don’t forget that we are also policyholders once we leave work and human beings, we are not robots!!!!!! We also have issues with ameli, etc.  As for the ameli codes, apart from asking for a code, what do you want us to do??? We do not manage the ameli system here at the reception or at the call center.  So instead of insulting us, clean in front of your own door first. As if every institution was perfect.  Anyway!!

My AMELI account has been blocked FOR 2 MONTHS, there is indeed a technician who can give me  A NEW CONFIDENTIAL CODE. I am 80 years old and I am unable to move outside of my home and make complaints to my health insurance due to lack of proof. SINCE EVERYTHING IS COMPUTERIZED.  Before the sudden cutoff from AMELI, I had written evidence to obtain from my health insurance, now I have no written evidence  Would you be so kind as to satisfy me by providing a temporary code that I will immediately change to a personal code. Usually when I come to this forum, it's to get information and tips, and for a week now, all I've been receiving in my mailbox are a series of messages from people who are attacking each other without solving the problem!  It's clear that the AMELI site is a real mess; as someone who regularly uses the internet, I can tell the difference between an easy-to-navigate site and a difficult one. The issue is the need for confidentiality, which makes the processes very cumbersome.  I would simply like to know how I can contact the Social Security without having to go through the internet... as if I didn't have the means to buy a computer, for example.

Hello: you need to enter the new security code in the first box and a second one of your choice in ((NUMBERS)) only: ((8 digits, no more, no less)) in the second box and confirm it in the third box. Make sure to do it in less than 3 tries. Good luck to everyone.

My account was locked after several attempts, the ameli account was invalid. The social security sent me a temporary confidential code. When asked for your current ameli account, you need to enter the one sent as temporary. Then for the new account, you need to create one with 8 to 13 digits. And finally  it works. I had a lot of trouble, but I found it thanks to the forum. Good luck ATHOS.

After a few minutes of conversation = nobody there anymore, I called back, this time a gentleman, the solution??? Apparently they're going to call me back on Monday ?? DO YOU BELIEVE IT?? One day, after entering my code incorrectly three times, my code became invalid. I then requested another one, which was sent to me by mail. It's a temporary code. Here's how it works: First, you enter your social security number. Then, your current code, which is the temporary one. Then on the second page: Current code (the temporary one)  then new code. It's a code that you need to create yourself, between 8 and 13 digits, and you are asked for it twice. After that, you can log in. Later, when you go to the my account page, after entering your social security number, you will enter your new code, which is the one you created, press connect and that's it. I know it's a bit convoluted, and the CPAM could have explained it better; I found out thanks to an internet user named LE SAUVEUR, and he lives up to his name   good luck to all, Athos

Following a false manipulation (inputting letters in the code), the account was blocked. I then requested a temporary code which I received, but when I tried to enter the new code, I got the message "account blocked!!!" and it took me to a window asking for my social security number, a personal information, and automatically ordered a new code by mail without warning!!! Yet, I have an email, or even a text message, at least. Anyway, I called 3646 who could do nothing for me and I have to wait for the new code (by mail) and call them upon its arrival. Summary: I'm already in a mess, I followed the procedure to the letter and it ends (maybe) with a waste of time, stress, 2 postal deliveries, 2 phone calls plus waiting, not great at all. I don't know who designed the IT project, but password issues have existed for a long time...

WARNING IN CASE OF DEPARTMENT CHANGE. YOU MUST CALL 3646 FROM YOUR OLD RESIDENCE AND CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT. THEN CALL 3646 FROM YOUR NEW RESIDENCE AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU A NEW CODE. YOU WILL NEED TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT, ENTER THE NEW CODE AND THEN CHANGE IT. I JUST RECEIVED THE ANSWER AFTER THREE MONTHS. GOOD LUCK
