Issue with Lock On Air Combat Simulation

Hello,
I bought Lock On Air Combat Simulation on PC (Vista wasn't out yet) and I'm installing it. I start playing but, well, my PC being a bit old (XP but old ^^), the game was running slowly. So I stopped playing with this software. A little while later (1 or 2 years :s), I got a new computer (this one with Vista), I start the installation, everything goes well. And, when I try to launch the game, I hear sounds, but no image. Finally, the sounds stop and so does the game, an error window pops up saying "Lock On Air Combat Simulation has stopped working. Windows will try to find an explanation for this problem."

I just bought this game, and I discovered the flaw. You just have to right-click on the lock-on icon and click on "run as administrator," and that's it. You're lucky, I don't often hang out on the forums...

This air combat game is great, but can you tell me which key triggers the rocket and other missile fire?

jeangab35- In fact, you need to select the "weapon" mode with the key é, then (in the F15C) you have several weapons at your disposal that you selected BEFORE the game by configuring your aircraft in the packaging or loading tab. In this tab, take the largest possible load.
So after pressing é, you switch weapons with D and fire with space; the rockets are in second position. If you’ve followed everything correctly, you should have bombs, rockets, guided missiles, and plenty of other interesting toys. - Well hello
Well, it's not an arcade game (where there's a button to shoot missiles or rockets) it's a simulator!! In the game, you have the flares :p or the sight and on the keyboard, you have (1,2,3,4,5, and 6) and each sight is compatible with an enemy (plane, boat, helicopter, air-ground) and also you have to scan the missiles before firing!! As soon as your sight automatically targets the enemy, you can simply click on 'Space' and then you'll manage to launch it, buddy :) :) :) I'm the only Moroccan expert at Lock on Air Combat :) and I'm proud to be :) - Hi!
Well, there is a touch for shooting because it's an arcade, it's a simulator (You have to choose the missiles first by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, the buttons at the top!! And each sight is compatible against a target (plane, boat, helicopter, air-ground). First, you have to let the automatic sight aim at the target, then you need to scan the chosen missiles. After that, it's simply pressing the spacebar to launch! (By the way, feel free to ask me any questions) I'm the only Moroccan expert in Lock On Air Modern and I'm proud to be! ;)

You can only fly the planes that are in the home menu!
So no Mirage 2000 unless you install add-ons, but that's pretty annoying!
On the other hand, to play online we can try to see both, right?! -

Hello everyone! I installed Adamod with Mod Man but when I start Lock On and want to pilot the Mirage 2000 it doesn't work?
Does anyone have a solution??? -
I had the same issue with Vista, but after downloading a lot of patches, it eventually started working (partially). Indeed, during certain tutorials, especially that of the F15 demo for using the AIM-9 in flood mode, the aircraft gets shot down before the end of the tutorial?! Some bugs like that. Otherwise, it is indeed possible to run Lock On on Vista.

It's normal, actually you can't fly the Mirage, you can only fly the A10A, the F15C, and 2 Russian planes (I can't remember which ones). It's a game that's a bit complicated to understand, but once you've got it all figured out, it's amazing.
