Hello,
I also have the same problem; I’ve done countless searches but found no real answers.
Is there anyone who has found a solution to recover their data?
Thank you in advance.-
Hello,
I had a somewhat similar problem: error C:13:02 when I inserted a new DVD into my Sony camcorder. After many unsuccessful searches, I tried several things, and I accidentally discovered that as long as I didn’t finalize the previous disc (which apparently isn’t necessary on a DVD+RW), the camcorder wouldn’t recognize a new disc. After I finalized the disc I had used before, the new disc was recognized by the camcorder, which asked me if I wanted to format it.
Problem solved for me, I hope this will be helpful for you!
Happy New Year!

Same for me, a DVD with this message even though it recorded the movie properly.
Nevertheless, I cleaned the DVD with a soft cloth and the disc was able to be read well afterwards. Great! -
Hello,
same here, can't find a solution;
disk cleaning / CD replacement no way still error C1302
any news for you? -

Hello.
Have you finalized your last disc? For me, it's a solution that works. If you don't finalize a disc and put another one in the camera, it doesn't recognize it. If you finalize it, then you can put another disc in and the camera recognizes it.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is a permanent solution, even though it doesn't allow for continuous recording of a performance, as the time it takes to finalize a disc before putting in a second one takes quite a bit of time... In any case, a very negative point for Sony, which offers no solution on its website! Zero points!- I too am a victim of this error code that shows SONY's unreliability and especially the lack of any support from this manufacturer.
I've tried everything: cleaning, playback on DVD...
However, I have noticed that the problem I frequently encounter occurs when I finalize the disk
especially SONY in -RW format.
How can I get out of this trap?
Should I buy a camcorder with a hard drive and abandon the SONY brand?
I am open to any solution.
Best regards to all.

Good evening, I'm encountering the same problem as you; moreover, I bought this camcorder (Sony DCR-DVD7) in the United States last year directly from Sony. The device at the consignment sale was second-hand and under warranty. I have never filmed with it, so I can't finalize the previous DVD! Does anyone have a solution to help me?
Thank you in advance. -

Good evening, for my part after hours of research, I finally unlocked my Handycam: remove the DVD, clean the lens with a cotton swab, and force the "carriage" with the lens towards the DVD holder (round in the center).
put a new DVD back in.
it worked for me, I hope this helps you!!! -
Yes, it worked, thank you Maximou. On 3 2 it worked because I put them directly in the camcorder. The other one, since I formatted it on the PC, still has the same problem. But who can give me the solution, thank you.
