Photoshop, no layers window...

Question

Hello,
I have Photoshop Elements 6.0 since today and I've been looking for the layers window for a good two hours with no luck...
In "windows" there is indeed "layers," but I can't click on it, sniff!
So if someone can help me, that would be great, thank you!!!

In the toolbar, go to "Window" and make sure "Layer" is checked.

I had the same problem,
I had dragged my tool windows to the Windows taskbar and could no longer retrieve them.
I had to increase my screen resolution in order to reach the bottom of the photoshop screen.
Right-click on the desktop
properties
settings tab, screen resolution.

They had hidden themselves, those little rascals.

You said to increase the resolution because they hid, so I did what you wrote (it's not the first time I've "lost" my pages on my screen) but I'm already at max resolution, actually. I moved the slider just in case, and still nothing
