Manual addition of TV frequency on Echostar. Solved

Question

Hello, I own an Echostar 3000 (analog-digital). I want to manually add the frequency of a newly launched TV channel. How do I proceed from the "Menu" options on my device? Thank you.

Search for transponder information on Telesatellite. For example: Channel Voyage
Echostar----menu----advanced options------add transponder---- the rest is just an example

the new channel will appear by going back to edit----modify transponder----search for the last one in the list and eureka.

I don't know this device...
But if you don't know how to manually enter a new channel, do an automatic search... to update...
The Web TV programs work according to that logic.

Good evening,
I have the same type of device as yours since January 2001.
It’s very easy to add new channels: you need to go to the menu under the section "installation" "advanced installation" "modify transponder" (in modify/add sat or tp), press the blue button and then add the characteristics of your new channel, namely: frequency, polarity, fec. Then you need to do a search, exit the menu, and your selection will be saved.
I hope you will be happy with your device.
With mine, I have problems after updating the version online (this issue is also discussed in the 2004 COMPIL of TV SATELLITE, which I recommend you buy).
So, if your device is from the same period as mine, I advise you not to update it.

I have an ECHOSTAR 3000 but the remote control is completely unresponsive (the problem is not with the batteries). I have cleaned the remote control - but it seems as if I haven't done anything. So where is the problem?
