Desert Storm 2 Game Startup Issue

Hello, I installed Desert Storm 2 on my machine.
Unfortunately, when I click on the game's icon, nothing happens. I checked the Processes and saw that the game's EXE was indeed active.
Can you help me?

    Actually, I just got it to work by clicking the mouse...

    Then I received the following confirmation from EIDOS:
    ....
    did you try clicking the mouse buttons during this screen? There is a bug at this stage, and if you don't click, the screen stays without progressing to the next step.

    Hello, you need to click on BDS (right mouse button) when the screen goes black. At first, I encountered the same problem, but I found the solution. See you soon.

    Have you tried shaking your keyboard a bit to see if your key is just stuck?

    Hello, I also have a problem with this game. Once installed, I double-click on the icon, the drive spins, but nothing happens, and I would like to know how to change its configuration to 95 or 98

    Hello,

    I have the same problem
    The software seems to launch, the process is also visible, but I have a black screen with a white line as a frame!!!
    It's stuck like this, I checked on the EIDOS website but there's nothing

    My configuration:
    HP 8180 (Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600)
    NVIDIA 8500GT turbocache graphics card with 512MB dedicated
    Vista Home Premium

    Any help would be appreciated

    Set it to Windows 98 or 95 compatibility and it will work. It didn’t work in XP compatibility...

      Hi, I saw your reply from 27/11/07 regarding the configuration problem with Desert Storm 2, which seems to be similar to the issue I'm having as well. You mentioned, "Set it to Windows 98 or 95 compatibility and it will work": how do I do that?

    In the meantime, I clicked on my mouse and it started...
    It was really too easy

    However, I am stuck in the game in front of the first tank behind barbed wire... impossible to get closer or blow it up???
    Is there a website for solutions? I couldn't find anything on Google

    Still regarding the startup issues, I've pretty much gone through the different cases but none, apparently, resemble mine!
    When I launch the game everything goes well until the first menu where the list of choices scrolls through the different options at high speed, as if you're constantly pressing the 's' key to scroll through the choices!
    If anyone can help me with this...

    PS: I've tried: uninstalling, changing compatibility... nothing works :-(
