Hello everyone in the community!
So, like many other people, I have a problem with the Fn+F8 and Fn+F9 shortcut keys that adjust the brightness of the PC: they no longer work, unlike the others (Fn+F1: sleep; Fn+F6: mute; Fn+F10 and F10: volume control). However, I have installed the latest version of the graphics card, and when the PC starts up, I can adjust the brightness using these keys until the Windows startup page appears (more precisely, when the webcam light turns on).
The issue is most likely related to the operating system, but where??
Thanks in advance for your responses!!

Salim

P.S.: I have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Xa 2528 running Windows XP SP2, with an Nvidia GeForce 8600M GS graphics card. If you need any more details, feel free to let me know :)

the same problem for me, you need to load the corresponding driver for the PC, for me it’s Samsung

After hours of searching the internet, I finally found the solution to make the Fn+F9 keys on my N220 work. The problem came from an external Microsoft keyboard that I had installed. I uninstalled it and everything went back to normal.

Il suffit de vérifier les mises à jour du PC dans les paramètres et le tour est joué.
