Hello,
Following this discussion (http://www.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich 4917095 barrette memoire comment la changer?appreciation=1&key=51e5ec7de00e761f5cf0490e54c776ac)
I put 2 GB in my iMac G5 and was able to start 3D work in Illustrator.
Unfortunately, after about 4 hours of work, the 3D elements stopped displaying and a window with the following message opened:
Unable to display the entire preview.
Insufficient memory.
ID = -108
I searched various forums, but I only found unanswered questions.
Can someone enlighten me?
Thanks in advance!
Mona

Good evening,
Error -108 is indeed a memory RAM shortage error.
In this case, either the memory stick is not properly in place (not seated correctly in its slot), or it is defective.
You need to go to the Apple menu "About This Mac," then click on "More Info," and in the window that opens, click on "Memory," where you will find useful information to check if your memory stick is properly recognized.
For example, for my iMac G5 "non iSight": http://imagik.fr/view-rl/17617
Best regards
