Hello,
being new to multiplayer PC video games, I'm asking for your help to know how to recover a game with my friend after a save.
The game is Empire Earth, but perhaps the procedure is the same for other games in the genre (Age of Empires, etc.)?
We can create a game by setting up a mini Ethernet network directly with a crossover cable from PC to PC, but when we have to quit, the host saves but is the only one able to recover the game.
How can we resume the game where we left off instead of restarting a civilization from scratch?
Thank you in advance if anyone can shed some light on this for us.
See you soon

Hello,
to resume the saved game, the host computer hosts the saved game by selecting "saved game" under "game type" and then the name of the save.
The players connecting must have the same name as in the save.
The game is automatically downloaded by the client computers before starting.
See you later!
