Sort by number of characters in Excel column

Hello,
I am trying to sort a column in Excel filled only with alphabetic characters. Logically, the sorting goes in ascending order from A to Z, but I am looking to sort not alphabetically but by the number of characters in each cell of my column. Is this possible?

    Hello,

    For your issue, I only see one possibility: insert a column where you enter the formula =LEN(reference to your character column) and sort by the result of this formula. After sorting, you can hide the column.
