Problem with Logicom G300

Hello,
I just bought this (used) phone and since it's been plugged in, it makes a sound! Not very loud but after a while quite stressful... At first, I thought someone was trying to reach me but when I picked up, I only heard the dial tone... The batteries are fully charged, I reset everything and yet it keeps going... In fact, it "rings" several times, then stops... then starts again (a few hours later!). Does anyone know this phone? Thank youuuuuu.
Best regards, Zou22

I got a second-hand device that has the same symptoms (intermittent beeping) and I tried this trick that is working for now, but I don't have enough feedback.

Unplug the power, then press and hold the base button while plugging the power back in, a particular beep sounds.

Since then, it's been fine... but is it just a coincidence?

In any case, it's not documented, but this kind of manipulation exists on other equipment.

    Thank you for your feedback.

I had the same beeping problem and the humhum technique has worked for now (2 days of feedback).
However, I have another problem: when I make a call, the line "crackles" and at the same time the phone base beeps.
Thank you for your help if anyone knows anything?....

Good evening. I unplugged the cord connecting the base to the mains for a few seconds and then plugged it back in. It seems to be working.

Merci. À+

It's a crazy thing with the ringing, it's been doing this for 3 months. At first, I removed one of the two handsets and it stopped ringing, but it's started again more than ever, both at night and during the day...
Plus, I just contacted Logicom's customer service, and with the robot that responds to me, it's not making any progress on that front. I also have the manual, but it's not like for PCs... 3 long beeps mean memory :p but here no, it's an alarm and if you don't turn it off you die lol
      Pleeeease help us!

        Same problem with these devices.
Zou22 (January 26, 2008) or Morgane9577 (January 27, 2008) or Nk36 (December 12, 2008) have they found another solution than the only one I currently have left: to permanently switch brands?

Hello, I have the same phone as you, I just bought it on eBay and I have a problem too. Sorry I can't solve yours, but if you could help me that would be great. I would like to know if rechargeable batteries are required in the phone or not, because with regular batteries it doesn't charge, it just beeps and it's annoying. Thank you.

Yes, I confirm that rechargeable batteries are needed. I also bought this phone on eBay and I'm pissed off! I bought new rechargeable batteries thinking that the noise might come from that but... Still the same high-pitched and annoying sound! Does anyone have a solution???? Thank you. See you!

Hold the star key and the number will display, then press the C key and the word CLEAR will appear, then press the down arrow and CLEAR ALL will display, then press the INT/OK key and CONFIRM will show, press this key again to confirm and normally 0 CALL will appear, which confirms the deletion of received calls.....................

Thank you Nobimo, but this is only to block incoming calls... Unfortunately, it doesn't change the regular "ringing" that I have on this phone!! I've tried everything, but I don't understand anything... Sometimes several hours go by without it making this sound and then all of a sudden, for no reason, it starts making this sound several times and for several hours!! It's super annoying!! Helppppp ;-)

    Hello,

    THANK YOU humhum !!!

The indicated manipulation works for me.
This phone almost ended up against a wall.

Thank you, thank you, thank you...

For me it didn't work, or I didn't manage to make it work. I followed the recommendation of NK36 (January 3) and I am very happy with it, regretting not having made this decision sooner.

    Hello!

I don't have an answer to your problem. I can only tell you that I've been experiencing the same issue for several months.
Orange installed the Live Box and a Logicom Lyra 250 phone for me.
At first, I thought I had tinnitus!
The same phenomenon: intermittent beeping-whistling sounds that occur periodically.
I've tried everything: keeping the mobile away from the phone, keeping the phone away from the Live Box.
    I've also changed the batteries...
It's definitely the phone that is emitting the sound and not the base, as it stops when the batteries are removed.
Like you, I would really like to get an explanation and especially for it to stop. It's unbearable, especially since the phone is in my bedroom!
If you have any information, it would be nice to share it with me. I will do the same for you if I find out anything.
    Have a good day.
    Best regards.
    Framboiz.

    Hello,
I have a Logicom phone that works with my LiveBox.
I have been bothered for a long time by a sort of very faint beep, at regular intervals, which made me feel like I had tinnitus!

Finally, after several months, I think I have found the source of this ringing sound.
The ringing no longer occurs when certain devices are turned off. For me, it is my two external hard drives.
When they are powered on, the beep exists. When I turn them off, it disappears.
I can't explain why. It's just an observation.
I hope this information will be useful to you and perhaps shed some light if you know more about computers than I do.
    Sincerely.
    Framboiz.

Thank you for all these exchanges... I hope it worked out for most of us...
As for me, I chose the simplest option but the most expensive... I bought another one (brand new this time!)!!
    Good luck to everyone
    :)

It's been 5 years since I've had a G300 (main unit + separate unit)... I never had the issue of "random beeps" until the last 3 weeks. I confirm, it's really annoying!

Like everyone else, I couldn't find anything in the manual. I was hoping to find an explanation online; so I'm joining you all.

If someone ever discovers the solution to this mystery =)

    Hello,

At my place, the beeps only occur when my external hard drives are powered on. There must be interference with the devices or the USB ports. No issues with the keyboard, mouse, or printer.

    I accidentally discovered this trick.

You can always try with your different devices. I hope it works.

    Good luck.
    Best regards.
    Framboiz.
