Hello,
I would like to change the scale in Solid Edge, for example so that a sheet of 21*29.7cm represents 21*29.7mm or better 2.1*2.97mm
how can we do this?
PS I still say that Solid Edge is the "best 2D", those who have tackled TurboCAD know what I'm talking about.
thank you
JP

Hi,
1. Make sure your view has been generated correctly
2. Click on the frame of your view
3. Look in the "ribbon bar"; you will find the option to change the scale (Scale Value)
4. Select the scale you want. There are plenty of options.
You can also do the tutorial for drafts that is included in Solid Edge. It will show you how to do it.
Good luck,
p.s. this should work for Solid Edge V15 and later. (They are now on V21 and Solid Edge ST will be coming out very soon,... for August 2008)
