Network drive sharing error message

Hello, I disconnected my network drive, and I want to reconnect it with another user account, and here's the error message it gives me:

"The specified network folder is currently mapped with a different username and password. To connect with a different username and password, you must first disconnect any other existing mappings to this network share."

I cleared the caches (ipconfig /flushdns,.....)=nok

And the network drive is indeed disconnected, it no longer appears in My Computer.

Does anyone have a solution or a DOS command? 
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

    Microsoft has provided a KB on this subject: https://support.microsoft.com/fr-fr/help/812793
    In this KB, it is specified that an update resolves the issue ... personally, I am on Vista and I have all the updates ... and yet I had the same incident!

    Here is how I resolved this knowing that it is a workaround:
    if the mapping was done on the netbios name of the machine and that is when the error appears, try the operation again by mapping the IP address instead of the name.
    IF the mapping was done on the IP address, then give it a try with the name :-)

    For me, it resolved the issue ....
    Keep us updated if you find the cause of this error in the meantime, as I am interested.

      Me on XP SP3 fixed the problem (which should not have occurred according to Microsoft). I was going through //"server"/"folder" then identification and voilà the error. Then I tried with //192.168.x.xx/"folder" and it worked (I just need to remember to reconnect the drive when I change the IP).

      Thank you, wizard, for this information; it solved my problem!! By entering the IP address, I can connect multiple network drives under different users. Have a great day.
