NFS Carbon won’t start!!!!!!!!!! Solved

Question

Hello,
I bought Need for Speed Carbon on PC. When I want to play there is a black screen at the beginning and then it returns to the desktop automatically without saying anything.
What should I do??

I had the same problem, you just need to right-click - properties - compatibility, set it to compatibility mode for Windows 98, and your game will work fine, see you.

Darn, it’s because your graphics card isn’t one: it’s a chipset, not a card. NFS may refuse to support it. Here is the minimum configuration advised by JeuxVideo.com:

Win 2000/XP,
PIV 1.7 GHz,
512 MB RAM,
64 MB graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 4 Ti-4200 or higher or ATi Radeon 8500 or higher),
4.7 GB free hard drive space.

Yes, try to buy a graphics card, or test the game on a friend's PC that has one.
