Hello everyone,

I just got a DS linker 8g for Nintendo DS. I can't seem to find a site to check the save type (2 or 4 mgbits, eeprom, etc.) of the downloaded roms. These are titles that I own, and I use them to put on the same card, which is great when traveling. Does anyone know of a site where you can find out this type of save? HELP ME PLEASE!!!
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.11

My problem is even weirder... I'm currently playing DQM (Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker) and certain phases of the game cause the DS to glitch: it freezes during monster captures (that's still a minor issue). I had over 30 hours of gameplay and the saves were working perfectly, but suddenly when I turned my DS back on to continue, my game was replaced by "new game": I lost my save file.
I don't understand why my save file was lost after so much time, which is very unpleasant for me...
    Does anyone have an answer?

Hello, you need to change the backup settings.
When you go on your NDS, select the game, before launching it with the A button, (SELECT+LEFT/RIGHT) CHANGE SAVE TYPE.
    Select FLASH 4 Mbit.

Thank you very much, my problem is solved with Zelda!!
Another issue, when a game doesn't work I can't delete it from my DS Linker. I delete them from the card on my computer (the .nds and .sav files) but when I turn my DS back on they are still there. Do I need to format my card every time?
Thank you in advance if anyone knows the answer...

look in the saves column and if you don't have the program 1.45 you need to save manually
by pressing select and choosing the save mode with the arrow, hi

My sister bought a linker 2 go.
She has a problem, it worked well at the beginning, she had several games on the chip, then there was only one game that worked.
She deleted everything (the programs too, I think) and now she can't do anything anymore
    can someone help me

      Good evening
You need to re-download the system files: http://www.superfamishop.com/soft_dslinker.htm

      Then reinstall your games
      and there you go ...

      HELLO,

I also have a ds linker 2go that I bought 15 days ago and it doesn't work anymore. I checked the superfamishop website but I don't know which software I need to download. They offer software for other cards but not for mine. Since you have the same one, can you explain to me how you did it and which software to choose?

      Thank you very much.

Bonjour, j'ai un problème avec ma dernière partie de Zelda car à chaque fois que je veux sauvegarder, il faut que je recommence depuis le début et ce n'est pas très marrant. Quelqu'un peut m'aider ? Merci, à plus.

I have a 16GB DS linker, and right now I'm having issues with the following games: Zelda, Culture for Dummies + Eye Gym. For Zelda, I've seen that it has been addressed. Could you provide me the save type for the other two games? Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
I recently bought a 8G DS linker, and I'm having ongoing issues with saving.

I understand that the save type needs to be changed, but it's such a hassle for each game...

Do you have a link with a list of games and their save types?

For Transformers Autobots, for example, what did you select?

Or does anyone have another solution?

    Thanks in advance.

The solution was given to me by my dealer and it works perfectly:

Insert the DS Linker into your Nintendo DS

Turn on your Nintendo DS console

Press and hold the START and SELECT buttons

Press A to launch the DS Linker or simply tap the DS Linker icon on the Nintendo DS menu

      You will enter FORMAT mode.

      Choose your format mode:

      QUICK FORMAT

      Or

      FULL FORMAT

We recommend FULL format, but the process is quite long.

After formatting your DS Linker, go to the official DS Linker website at:

      www.dslinker.cn

There you will find the xmenu.dat file that you need to place on the DS Linker for it to function properly.

There you go, it's long but very effective.

I have another kind of problem. I have a linker Ds 16G and it works very well except for one game, "Disgaea." I put in Flash 4mbit and it saves perfectly, but the next day when I come back to my Ds, my game has been lost, and I have to start everything over again. Could you please help me? Thank you in advance...

Hello, I have a backup problem with my 16GB DS linker
When I play about 3/4 of the games like Pokemon Platinum or HeartGold/SoulSilver, I can save, like, 1 minute after starting the game, it works, but then when I try to save around the 5-minute mark, I get a blue screen saying that the save is corrupted but I can still play without saving and that I need to restart my DS.
What can I do to successfully save?
    Help please

Hello everyone, I have the DS Linker 2GO card. I downloaded a Pokémon Pearl game and a Pokémon Pearl save file. I placed it correctly in my cartridge, but when I play, the save doesn't work. Yet I even named the game file ending with .sav, and I checked the properties; it's exactly the same. Please help me.

      Hello JW94.
We don't have exactly the same problem. Personally, I'm looking for a site to know the type of save for DS LINKER ROMS, 2Mgbts, 4Mgbts, or EEPROM, etc...
Regarding the save file that isn't working, it means that the downloaded game is of poor quality. Where did you download the ROM?
You should check out http://www.dreamzone.c4.fr. I'm very happy with the quality of the ROMS there.
I had the same problem as you. You need to delete both the .nds and .sav files and re-download the ROM. Then, if you want, you can rename it as you wish, just remember to rename the .sav file as well.
      See you soon!
