Hello,
Since I got internet, whenever I plug in the ethernet cable (provided by Free), it doesn't clip into the port of my laptop even though it clips very well into the box, which means I have to hold the cable plugged in to stay connected, and as soon as I move, the cable comes unplugged!!! Could it be that my laptop is defective?? In that case, would I have to send it back to the manufacturer?
Thank you for your help

Hi, I suggest you try with another network cable because those provided by the ISP are not of great quality (I've encountered this problem before).

But in the case where it's not the cable, is it the port that will need to be changed? Is it possible to do this without sending it back to the manufacturer?
That's not the question! I never said I didn't want to buy a new cable... I just wanted to know in case it wasn't the cable. I'm asking the question because I already tried plugging the other end of the cable into my PC and it didn't change anything, while on the Freebox side, it works well, the cable clips in properly.
