Hello,
I will soon take an AFPA test for the payroll management training (level 3, which is equivalent to BTS or DUT). I would like to have information about these tests: how does it work? How long does it take? What kind of questions? In which areas: math...? And do you know a website where I could practice? Thank you in advance.
Finally, what kind of questions does the psychologist ask to assess the candidate's motivation?

Hi
the test is about 2 to 2.5 hours long. There are 100 questions covering arithmetic sequences, grammar, vocabulary, conjugation (present, imperfect, past tense, subjunctive and conditional)!!!
Math: starts easy and then gets a bit tough, quadratics or percentages... and mental math of course....
The psychologist will check your motivation to talk about the job and your past, your flaws, qualities......

It's true about the calculator, you have to do everything in your head. Delphine asked me the same thing as you. Send me an email address so I can send you the same message I sent her. I had included some examples. As for French, there's grammar, conjugation, and a reading comprehension section that has 2 to 5 sentences, and then you have to respond to statements. For math, at first, it’s easy, but after that, it gets a bit challenging to do in your head: percentages, a system, x².....
So practice on the links I left above, it really helps for arithmetic sequences and logical sequences.

Hi everyone, I'm taking the AFPA training tests for bilingual English import/export assistant on April 1st! Could you inform me about the psycho tests, as well as the subjects (math, French, and English), and also about the psychological interview? From what I've heard, some took them over several days, but I am scheduled for the whole day for all the exams and interviews!! Thank you for helping me as soon as possible!!

Hello Marie, I would also like to take the payroll manager training at AFPA. I had an appointment this morning with my ANPE advisor who scheduled a test for me on 27/11 at the SOP in Avignon. Do you have any more information about these tests? It's funny that it lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes since I have an appointment at 11 a.m. Anyway, on Monday, I'm going to call the SOP to find out a bit more.
I would like to join the training in Nice starting in January. Can you get in touch with me so we can discuss it?

I just wanted to get more information regarding the questions asked. I would like to have some examples in French and mathematics. I also think that calculators are not allowed... actually, I’m mostly wondering about the kind of questions in French, whether they are exercises or simple questions. Sorry, I don't know what the AFPA requires to be a communication designer, but I can recommend that you call the SOP (Professional Orientation Service) in your area or directly call the center where the training you’re asking about takes place. They should be able to advise you.

  I took the first part of the tests on Wednesday (100 questions, no time limit, I took 1 hour and 30 minutes). These are general psychotechnical tests, so they are the same for everyone, regardless of the training requested.
  There is nothing to study for these tests; the aim is to see what your level is and if you are able to follow a training course.
  I have to take the English tests as part of my application for a bilingual English import-export assistant training. Does anyone know what these tests consist of?

Hi Delphine!!!

I took the tests and got the results, for me it was insufficient!!! So I need to make sure to meet with the psychologist. If you want to discuss it, no problem, just give me an email address!!! Otherwise, to join a session, you have to wait at least 6 months, because there are only 15 spots per session and they fill up quickly!!!
