Question

Hello,

I'm having a problem with my daughter's console installation.

I connected the yellow and red cable to the audio input at the front of the TV. I can see the game’s presentation image on the screen, but when I put the disc in the console, nothing happens as if the console isn't reading it. And the image on the TV remains the same.

What should I do?

Is there another step I need to take?

it's still not working: yet the disk is properly inserted, the three colored cords are connected to the front of the TV .........

could there be a problem with a batch of consoles made by our Chinese friends?

I can't help but wonder, it's not possible!

Uh, I don't know this console, but could you describe it to me? Are there several CDs or disks to insert? What does it look like?

It's a pink console. You might be able to see the model on a website, like Les 3 Suisses for example.

There’s a connection at the back that connects to the two cables to the TV (the audio), and at the front on the left, there's a port to connect two game controllers and on the right, a microphone.

The diskette fits into the front of the console.

There you go.

But I think all consoles work on the same principle, right?

Try putting the game in first and then turning on the console (or once the game is in, turn it off and then back on).

I'm desperate: I just had the console replaced and it still doesn't work!  Something must be slipping our minds; it's not possible.  I'm connecting the three colors of the console cable in front of the TV: yellow and white (not the red because when I connect it, there’s no sound) and I switch to AV channel 2 on the TV.  I do have the connection between the console and the TV since the V Smile logo appears on the screen with an orange squiggle dancing, but when I insert the disk into the console, nothing happens.  Is there anything else to do?  Help, I'm on edge: Christmas has passed and my daughter still can't use this damn console.  Thank you for your advice.

Hello,  If channels av1 and av2 are not working, switch to av3. It's our case and it works.  Good luck.

Well, first of all, hello, and then:

Do you use the SCART adapter? If so, you'll need to place it in the same spot as your DIVX or DVD player (to ensure that the port works).
Then you put the game in the console, turn it on, and the image should be fine.

If you go directly through the red, white, and yellow cables to your TV, check which auxiliary it corresponds to: AV1, AV2... Personally, on my plasma, I'm on AV4.

I still recommend, at first, if you're not managing your TV, to use the SCART.

I connected the SCART cable to the TV instead of the DVD player, but it still doesn't work. I unplugged the DVD player and positioned the cables correctly, but it's still the same. Plus, I can switch my TV to AV1 and AV2, but not AV3, so what should I do? Thank you for all your advice.

Well, let's get back to it lol

When you start your DVD, do you need to choose a channel? If so, it’s that one you’ll need to choose; if not, it means your TV selects the channel by itself.

So you might not need to switch to AV mode but perhaps to an auxiliary mode or even 0.

Can you tell me the brand of the TV?

Do you have the option to test your console at a neighbor's place?

I will drop by before midnight lol to see what console she has for 2007.

Hang in there, it's coming together (especially since it's silly, but I think the TV doesn't want to recognize the console) lol

I just tried several tests with my daughter's console

* without a game in the console => you have the V-Tech image followed by an orange thing with sound presence
if you do not touch anything and you start the game, the console turns off, so you have to turn it back on

if the game is not inserted properly, you should still have the image

do you have the red, white, yellow connection on your TV?

Good evening, my TV is a Goldstar, on AV2 it has the picture and sound in color but the logo keeps repeating endlessly. In their manual, it says to put in and remove the game when the console is off. When inserting a DVD, it starts up on its own. So, I'm still at the same point. Good health to everyone. Thank you.

The solution for games that won't start: This is not an issue with the console but with the discs. On the left side of the disc, there is a rectangle that slides. During the first introductions, this part may not slide correctly. You need to unlock it (do not force it); at the end of the flap on the edge of the case, there is a small push button. Press it and at the same time, slide the flap slightly downwards. After that, the problem should normally be resolved.  As for the display on the TV, for those looking for an AV3, it does not exist on all TVs. Generally, the AV1 and AV2 ports are located at the back of the television, and the AV3 is on the front or side. To test, it's best to connect to AV1; once that's working, the kids are happy, and it gives you time to try out the other ports.  There you go, I hope I have resolved your issues.  With the V Smile Pro pink, I had a problem with the controller moving the characters to the left without me touching it; I find it too sensitive. I had to return it for an exchange; the new one is better, but still...

Hello everyone
It reassures me to not be alone in the same situation because I also have the logo looping and, on top of that, I tried it on both of my TVs. I didn't stop there, we went back to bring the console to the Toys R Us store and it worked very well there. They told us to use the power adapter instead of batteries. Strange, right? since the console connects well to the TV? Anyway, I still haven't found a solution and I'm starting to despair because I'm not close to the store. If someone has found the solution, I would be happy to benefit from it.
