    You need to tell us a bit more
    The console requires either batteries or a power adapter, and you also need to check that the TV is set to the correct "channel" (which depends on the television). Often it’s AV0, AV1, ... Some TVs require specific settings to accept the signal, such as assigning an "input" (the socket where the console is connected) to a "function" (like DVD player, game console, VCR, ...) and then you have to select the "function" to use the input
