Hi everyone
I’m going to buy a Wii soon and, wanting to buy a second controller (what's the point otherwise?), I was wondering if it's really useful to pair the Wiimote with a Nunchuk.
If so, are there any "official" and new Wiimote-Nunchuk packs available?
Thanks

It depends on which games you plan to play...
Notably, in the game Wii Sports, there is baseball, tennis, golf, and bowling, which can be played without the nunchuk...
There are a few games, if I'm not mistaken: Trauma Center, Kororinpa, and others that don't require a nunchuk...
But for boxing, Rayman and the Raving Rabbids, NFS Carbon, Resident Evil, Zelda, Far Cry, Red Steel, etc., you will need the nunchuk.
So to answer your question, YES, the nunchuk is still essential!

You can play with a GameCube controller or a "classic" one, but in that case, there's no point in buying the Wii...
