Hello,
Who can tell me the difference between the All Users profile (and therefore the directories) and the Default Users profile? My question is justified by the fact that I am currently in the process of creating a master XP, so XP updates, desktop configuration, applications, shortcuts, etc. Sysprep of course, and I want anyone who logs onto a machine once the image is deployed on the PCs to find the same environment and applications as my Model user whose profile I will have copied >>> But Where >>> in All Users or Default Users

DEFAULT USER serves as a kind of "template user account": when you create a new user account, it will have the same properties (for example, the shortcuts created on its desktop). However, any changes you make to the DEFAULT USER account will not affect other user accounts that have already been created.
ALL USER allows you to modify certain properties for all user accounts on your computer: adding a new shortcut on the ALL USER desktop will make it appear on each of the desktops of the different users on your computer. It is also worth noting that only administrators will have sufficient rights to delete this shortcut, which will then be removed for all users.
