Installation order of The Sims 2

Hello,
I just wanted to know in which order to install the additional discs for The Sims 2, thanks.
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.9

      Yes, but I installed the normal Sims 2, then The Sims 2: Open for Business, then The Sims 2: H&M Fashion Stuff, and now I want to install The Sims 2: Pets and The Sims 2: Seasons, and it doesn't work!! What should I do?

      but why should they be installed in a specific order?

      I did:
      -The Sims 2 Double Deluxe (The Sims 2, The Sims 2 Nightlife, The Sims 2 Celebration Stuff)
      -The Sims 2 Apartment Life
      -The Sims 2 Seasons
      -The Sims 2 FreeTime
      -The Sims 2 Pets. Sorry to say this more than a year later.

    And what about the kits? How do we do it because I have the Sims Holiday Celebration Kit, but then I installed Seasons, and even though the Holiday Celebration Kit was released last, I have to play with Seasons :( !! Please help me!!

    In general, you play with the last installed one. But I think to install Academie, you will have to uninstall all the others!! Anyway, it works like that for the Sims 1! Anyway, good luck and have fun!

    you need to do it based on their release date. Here’s what I found:
    - Academie
    - Nuits de Folie
    - La bonne affaire
    - Animaux et Cie
    - Au fil des saisons
    - Bon voyage

    Well, it looks like it's different for the kits. Personally, I don't know. It seems like you choose the installation order and you have to use the last one installed. As long as it works, I don't see what the problem is.

    Thank you!! Well, I think I'm going to manage without "Academie" otherwise I'll lose everything!!! Because I've installed everything up to "Bonvoyage"!!!

    Hello,

    Apparently for the kits, you can install them whenever you want, they don’t alter the game framework, it’s just like downloading clothes or other items from a website.

    Could you give me a site to re-download the Sims 2 expansion pack and NOT the patch pack? My mom uninstalled everything and I want to play the Sims IKEA, but I can't do it without the Sims 2. Please help me! =S =(

    Hello,
    And for the downloads, will they be lost if I uninstall my Sims 2 Pets expansion pack
    to install Nightlife and then reinstall Pets? I was thinking of copying my downloads folder and putting it back in EA Games!

    C'est simple, déjà pour Les Sims 1, il faut Les Sims Deluxe. Ensuite, pour Les Sims 2, on met le CD 1, on suit les instructions, puis il vous dira de mettre le CD 2, etc. Il y a des CD qui ne seront pas demandés lors de l'installation, ces CD sont des bonus à installer si on le veut après ! Voilà !

    I have all the Sims 1 when it was the "trend", I used to play and when I installed them, I would put them in any order; there was no specific order, so in my opinion, for the Sims 2, there's no order either!!
    I have the Sims 2, Open for Business, H&M Stuff, and soon Seasons...
