Hello,
I bought a DVD recorder/player with a 160 GB hard drive on sale.
The manual is very brief.
After many attempts, I can record on the hard drive but without sound.
The tuner is of very poor quality.
Purchased at PlanetSaturn.
If anyone has information.

    Hello,
    I recorded a show in HQ quality on my DIGITEK HDD player and would now like to transfer it to a DVD.
    The duration of the show is 2h15, and the DVD can only accommodate 1 hour of recording in this quality.
    Could someone help me?
    Is it possible to copy from HDD to a video cassette?

    I was given a DIGITEK recorder player... it works but the problem I have is that I can't connect it to my Neuf Télécom TNT decoder. Does anyone know how to connect all this?

    It can find the 6 analog channels (TF1, F2, F3, M6..) but not the TNT channels.

        Hello, it cannot be operated with a decoder; it only works with terrestrial signal; otherwise, you need another device.

        Hi, I have this user manual, it doesn't explain how to resolve the difficulties encountered,
        for example, why does it ask for a code for the reset when it is not indicated in the notice,
        then what to do when the manual controls don't work, it only responds to the remote control, I have never seen such a device.
        In conclusion, if you want to buy a DVD burner, it is better to go for a brand that has a real customer service.
        A commercial error.

    J'ai un enregistreur DVD Digitek et j'ai le même problème, lors de l'installation : pas de son sur le tuner. Mais après avoir enregistré chaque chaîne et sélectionné le "système TV" avec la télécommande, le son apparaît. (Sélectionnez le système TV de votre pays).

    However, another question.
    Why is the reception through the DVD tuner very poor compared to the TV?
    The recordings are obviously poor as well.
    Connection error?

    In response to your question.
    There is no phone number on the provided notice. It's quite brief and only partially corresponds to the menus displayed on the screen. I believe if you search for Digitek online, you should find the name of a company that still supports these products.
    Regarding my sound issue, it was caused by the SCART connector.
    I also curse the creator of this interface, which is as impractical as it is inefficient.
    The image quality is frankly degraded compared to the TV.
    I have another setup with a Thomson hard drive recorder connected in the same way. No difference between the TV and the recording. Unfortunately, it just broke down. It had the particularity of having a G-LINK output (decoder control) allowing me to record as many programs as I wanted on different channels.
    For example, to go away for a week and be able to program 5 movies on 5 different channels.
    This function only exists today with Sony and only in the high-end models.
    I noted your number, and I'll call you just in case.

    Probably a problem with the Peritel connection.
    Be sure to read the manual regarding the cords to connect.
    I think you need to connect everything like a C+ decoder.
    Count on 4 good quality Peritel sockets.
    For my part, I've lost color on the recorder......
    A setting lost somewhere.
    Spent half a day fiddling around without resolving this issue.

    For my part, I bought a 250 g of this brand on sale that displayed only glitchy and scrolling images, and after many blind maneuvers on the remote control, I managed to do a factory reset that "fixed" the device.
    I record on the satellite and the picture is the same as the original (in HD of course). So check that your recording options aren't set to low quality.
    One more question: for playing DivX, is there a site to get updates?

    Just an address (which I've lost) of the old manufacturer of the product.
    I found the color on the recorder without having touched anything.
    In the morning no color, in the evening with !!!!!!

    Hello, I haven't found any function on the device to finalize the burned DVD so that it is compatible with other players. Is it automatic at the end of the burning process? Can someone inform me? Thank you.

      Hello,

      To finalize the DVD, you need to go to the configuration interface (SETUP button on the remote) and select the DISC menu (DVD icon) on the far right (see page 39 and following in the Digitek user manual).
      To close the DVD, select the 6th submenu (page 45).

      I'm afraid the disk is out of order.
      I had the same problem with a Thomson and that was the diagnosis.
      Maybe try formatting the HDD.
      I think there's that option.

      Hello, I also have a Daewoo HDD/DVD recorder DH-611D. My 80 GB hard drive broke down, so I paid for another one of 250 GB. When I put it in, the recorder opens the DVD drive cover and on the small HDD screen..and there's no progress (it stops there) and nothing shows up on my TV. Help me, what should I do? Thank you.
