can someone provide me with information about the types of files that PowerPoint supports? I'm obviously talking about embedded files and not linked ones.

thank you

Hi, I had the same video format issue, but it's good, it's resolved. Try the WMV format, it's better.

devcom32 is a file that concerns your sound card (ATI Multimedia Center), I don't see the connection with PowerPoint
check out this address, it's all explained
http://www.ati.com/support/fr/infobase/3543.html
try reinstalling your sound card
@+ let me know how it goes

Hello,
From slides and photos, I created a looping montage on PowerPoint 2003.
I don't know how to add sound to my montage.
The sound is currently on a CD from which I want to take a few tracks.
I also want to burn everything onto a DVD so that I can play it on my DVD player that can read MP3.
Thank you for your help.

You cannot read a pps (PowerPoint) file on a DVD player on the TV even if it reads many formats; it does not read pps.
PowerPoint only saves in wav format (on the PC you can play the slideshow with sound, but when you save it, it does not include the file; if you send an email, there is no sound). In the sound section, go to "another sound" and look for the sound file in your files.
To create a slideshow on DVD that can be viewed on TV, you need a software for that; there is a nice one called "PHOTOS ON CD AND DVD." Bye @+
