Connecting a laptop to a projector

Hello,
I have a Fujitsu Siemens laptop (Amilo Pro). To connect a data projector, I pressed the Fn and F5 keys with no effect; the data projector does not respond (no signal). If someone can help me resolve this urgent issue

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

to connect press fn f4 or fn f5 for Toshiba, I don't know

faire fnf4 ou bien fnf5 si l'écran de ton pc est noir appuie sur f6 ou bien fnf6 et hop le problème résolu

To connect any PC to a data projector, simply use a printer cable instead of the VGA cable, plug it into the USB port of the data projector, and click on "My Computer." You will see that the data projector is detected by the PC, so double-click on it, and the content of your PC's screen will be projected onto the projection screen.
